Iranian media separately reported that authorities had begun a two-day operation on October 19 to destroy unexploded ordnance north of the city, offering a possible explanation for the blast. No direct connection between the operation and the reported explosion has been confirmed.
In northwestern Iran, Shin OSINT also reports that soldiers have been evacuated from some military barracks in East Azerbaijan Province for a second consecutive night amid fears of further escalation.
The reported evacuations remain independently unverified, and no specific military installations have been identified.

The following article was posted on KCNA.kp, the Korean Central News Agency, which is North Korea's state news agency.
In it Kim You Jong, Kim Jong UN's sister, breaks down provocations caused by the South Korean forces along the demilitarized zone since August.
They have been in large numbers and now she has voiced that there may be a response in the form of more tactical weapons systems and loudspeaker broadcasts along the border.
Now there is a lot of speculation that appears to be circulating today regarding the health of North Korean leader, Kim Jong Un, with one report claiming he had a brain hemorrhage which put him in a coma. These are for now unsubstantiated claims.
The statement by Kim Yo Jong could be that she is filling the gap in the event something did happen OR she is making these statements as her positions as Director of the Central Committees General Affairs department, Alternate Member of the Politburo and member of the WPK Central Committee gives her the authority to do so.
For now there is only speculation as to what is going on behind the scenes in North Korea.
