Reta day 6 again. (I messed up my day count and got off track documenting this😞)
Sleep, got a solid 5hrs 45min which is pretty much the norm for me. Day 2 of “up an at tem’” vs the “slowly shaking of grogginess” and gradually waking up.
BP 30 min after waking: 135/80. I’ll recheck this evening as this is higher than I’ve been running, but no where close to it was running in June which caused me to go on a med to begin with. Systolic 170’s-190’s / 110-ish. If it stays like it is, this will be day 5 of no BP med.
Had coffee first thing this a.m (to me), but only bc Mrs. Nomad heard me moving around and brought me a cup. Otherwise I wouldn’t have had any. No caffeine headache so far with the significant reduction in caffeine intake.
No appetite / hunger. My last meal was really a snack around 0030hrs (my lunch), summer sausage and slices of Swiss cheese. There is no shortage of candy and crap snacks at the hospitals, passed on it except for 1/2 pc of one of those micro candy bars. Zero interest in sweets.
Someone on here mentioned whey protein in Gatorade. That’s what I had for dinner prior to going to work last night. I liked it and will continue getting protein in that manner.
2 BM’s in week 1, normal is daily. Pushing the TMI boundaries in my opinion, that said, if you’re reading this you are more than likely an adult, and well, we’re having an adult conversation.
Heartburn / GERD: Had it Day 1 & 2 worse than I normally do, since the it’s tolerable.
I have read others complain of an increased heart rate. I have not experienced this, I am staying the lower 80’s BPM.
I’ll reweigh tomorrow. Currently Mrs Nomad and I are tied at 5lb weight loss.
