Had the privilege of joining my first of hopefully many more PallOnc CoP meetings (thank you @realbowtiedoc for the invite)! Inspired by Dr. Smith @tsmit136 and reminded of the difference it can make to pull up a chair, sit down, and ask, "How are you coping?"

Welcomed 39 bright medical students to our @AHNtoday/@1LECOM clinical campus in Pittsburgh today! Honored to serve as one of their Chiefs this year and have a front seat as they grow as clinical learners and advocates for our communities!

Only as an attending do I fully appreciate all the doctors who took time to teach me. I didn’t realize they probably had notes to write, research papers to submit, patients waiting in the clinic. Instead, they took time to teach. What a gift. #meded

Grateful to reunite with Health Services Research mentor @BKVarda_MD at the @ChildrensNatl Spina Bifida Clinic and OR this week. Inspired by the multiple hats she wears, in addition to being an incredible physician! Featuring: our new pose courtesy of her four y.o., Rose ☺️
