Precision medicine is helping reshape how treatment decisions are made, but progress doesn’t always follow a straight line. In Oncology Unscripted by Decera Clinical Insights, @marshalj23, reflects on recent research showing improved outcomes with precision medicine approaches, while also considering studies that have challenged expectations and reinforced the need for continued investigation. From AI to precision medicine, new data are helping point the way forward while reminding us that evolving evidence can change how clinicians consider standard of care and how education can help clinicians determine how to bring the latest scientific advances into clinical action. . Watch the latest episode for Dr Marshall’s perspective on what these findings could mean for the future of oncology: bit.ly/4kcAhlI #Oncology #PrecisionMedicine #ArtificialIntelligence #CancerResearch #CancerCare #ScientificActivation #EvidenceToAction #Decode

The FDA has approved dostarlimab (Jemperli) for some adults with stage II or III rectal cancer whose tumors test MSI-H or dMMR. In the AZUR-1 trial, about 2 in 3 patients had a complete response lasting at least a year without surgery, based on their doctors’ assessments. The trial is ongoing and did not compare dostarlimab with standard treatment. Biomarker testing is the only way to know if a tumor has these markers. Ask your care team whether your tumor was tested and what your results mean for your treatment options. Read more on our blog 👉 crcancer.org/blog-dostarlima…
