SSB CONDUCTS JOINT OPERATION TO DESTROY WILD CANNABIS OVER 170 ACRES IN WEST KAMENG, ARUNACHAL PRADESH 61st Battalion Sashastra Seema Bal (#SSB), Bhairabkunda, conducted a joint operation involving 234 personnel from SSB, Police, #NCB, #CRPF, local authorities and community representatives, along with 120 local labourers on 27 October 2026 to destroy wild-growing cannabis spread over approx. 170 acres near Upper R/Pam Village, Kalaktang Block, West Kameng District, #ArunachalPradesh. The coordinated action reflects strong inter-agency cooperation and community participation in combating narcotic cultivation. 🇮🇳🤝🇳🇵 Strengthening India–Nepal Border Cooperation The 10th Annual Coordination Meeting between Sashastra Seema Bal (#SSB), India and Armed Police Force (#APF), Nepal, successfully commenced in #Kathmandu, Nepal. The SSB delegation led by #DGSSB Shri Sanjay Singhal, IPS, while the APF delegation is headed by Inspector General Shri Narayan Dutta Poudyal. Both sides reviewed progress on previous decisions and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening border security, effective border management, combating trans-border crimes, intelligence sharing, joint training and operational coordination.
