Money market funds (₦6.72trn) and dollar funds (₦1.75trn) together hold about ₦8.47 trillion. Equity funds hold 2.42% and bond funds 2.34%.

Exactly this. Savings interest is pegged to a slice of MPR, cancelled if you withdraw a 4th time, and then charges eat what's left. Sweep idle cash into an SEC-licensed money market fund, and compare yields after fees, not the headline rate.
