Keeping America moving starts with manufacturing the trucks and trailers to meet the transportation industry’s needs and West-Mark is building this machinery to fuel America’s economy, strengthen our supply chains, and provide high-paying manufacturing jobs to American Workers. Strengthening America’s workforce by providing training and skills to hardworking Americans is a top priority for @POTUS and @USDOL. It takes organizations like @VOLTInstitute, a DOL grantee, providing hands-on manufacturing and industrial training to make that a reality. I toured its training center with @RepMcClintock to learn more about the competency-based programs in manufacturing, robotics, maintenance, and more, as well as the important partnerships the institute is building with local Job Creators—providing a direct pipeline of highly skilled and driven American Workers to meet the demand of a strong economy. 📍 Modesto, California

I toured its world headquarters in Dearborn, Michigan where the company has played a central role in Michigan’s automotive industry and manufacturing economy for more than a century and will continue to do so with a recently announced 3.3-million-square-foot complex expansion—fueling innovation with high-paying engineering and manufacturing jobs to accelerate vehicle development for years to come. 📍 Dearborn, Michigan

FEDCO is expanding in Michigan and investing in the American Workforce to do it. Today, I toured its Monroe facility with @RepWalberg, where the manufacturer of high-pressure pumps and water desalination technology is building a new 20,000-square-foot innovation center for research, product development, and technical training. Under @POTUS, the Working Families Tax Cuts are spurring an environment for growth—giving Job Creators the confidence to invest in America again. I toured @NiowaveInc’s facility in Lansing, Michigan where the company’s $85 MILLION INVESTMENT will continue to fuel its manufacturing of radioisotope technology that’s producing life-saving isotopes for the development of targeted cancer therapies. Under @POTUS, the health of the American People is a top priority and if we’re boosting American Manufacturing to provide high-skilled, high-paying jobs in Michigan and throughout the country at the same time, that’s a win-win. 📍Lansing, Michigan
