The people who watched billions get stolen are suddenly offended that @POTUS, @VP and @WHFraudTF are doing something about it.
We’re not here to protect Washington’s feelings.
We’re here to recover stolen money and deliver handcuffs. nypost.com/2026/06/22/opinio…
.@AGToddBlanche: On September 1, we began a surge against SNAP fraud — and in seven weeks, we’ve uncovered $42M in SNAP fraud, or enough to feed 220,000 Americans for an entire month.
"Vice President JD Vance will announce today that the federal anti-fraud task force he leads has identified $40 million in welfare fraud and more than 40 suspects behind the alleged schemes."

California owes over $22 BILLION to the federal UI trust fund—and small business owners could get stuck paying an extra $371 per employee.
California spends.
Main Street pays.
Wonder if it has anything to do with California being over $22 BILLION in debt to the federal Unemployment Insurance Trust Fund.
The debt doesn’t disappear. The bill gets passed to employers.
California’s unemployment insurance debt is ⬆️ $22 BILLION.
State government runs up the tab. Businesses get hit with higher taxes.
They break it. You bankroll it.
As an #NYPD detective, @NYPDTips helped get guns off the street and put shooting perps in custody. @POTUS and @VP’s @WHFraudTF is bringing that same approach to FRAUD.
You bring the tips. @DOLOIG brings the handcuffs.
Listen and Lear… 🇺🇸
I took the pledge.
@POTUS and @VP’s @WHFraudTF are unleashing a war on fraud.
From stolen benefits to visa fraud, @DOLOIG is following the money and bringing the handcuffs.
You worked for it. Perps stole it. We’re coming for it. whitehouse.gov/releases/2026…
$4.6M COVID INDICTMENT
A former employee of a State of Illinois subcontractor and a co-defendant have been indicted for their roles in a $4.6 million unemployment benefits scheme.
According to the indictment, the defendants accessed the Illinois Pandemic Unemployment Assistance system and allegedly inflated wage histories for hundreds of applicants—causing ~$4.6M in payments to be issued that recipients were not entitled to receive—in exchange for thousands of dollars.
They each now face over a dozen charges of wire fraud.
Excellent work by @NDILnews, @USLaborIG, @FBIChicago, and @USPIS_CHI.
Today we remember Deputy Sheriff Sarah Irene Jones, from the @SheriffMonroeCo, who succumbed to injuries sustained after being struck by a 16-year-old driver while directing traffic around a minor traffic accident.
