Rubberband Tug-of-war
My main goal in life is to help people be better modelers and artists. I've been sharing what I've learned over the past two decades and hope it's put to good use. Seeing people learn and grow makes me happy. This is a mentoring account, so if you have questions, just tag me 😁

Yeah. I'm bad at my own game. I am ok with this. I feel like hacking minigames in a multiplayer game *should* be hard, but also @NotBadSoftware is an asshole. 😐
I know we're -supposed- to build game mechanics in a way that makes it just easy enough for people to win so they keep coming back. Unfortunately, I am me and @ThatNgonGuy is @ThatNgonGuy, so we're making things annoyingly difficult when we feel like it. Good luck, chums.

May I interest you in the TinyCAD extension? extensions.blender.org/add-o… There's an operator in that called "Resurrect Circle Center" that does this.

90% of my calculator usage is me calculating the interior angles of polygons because I'm using them as circles in blender

TIL that not everyone knows about the conversion tools in the Windows Calculator, so I guess I'll share that here too

OH you want to know what I'm doing this weekend? @ThatNgonGuy and I are busy doing space trucker things. We're also wishing we knew how to animate skelmeshes a bit...but we'll get there.

I keep adding stuff to this because there's a ton of tangential information that is good to know but not crucial to understand for modeling. So instead of leaving that stuff out completely, I make separate pages for people to learn about if they want.

This literally just happened to me IRL. Was re-caulking my shower but was getting hot so I turned down the AC, but then I remembered I had to replace the filter so I started that, and in the process realized I was hungry so I made food first. 1 hour later, getting back to task.

Ooh and make the active the quest change if you discover another quest but you can't switch it back to the old one until you finish the new one. Or until you find a new quest. Rinse/repeat 😂

Talking about simulation games with friends on discord and now I want to add ADHD as a character trait in the game I'm making with @NotBadSoftware Maybe quests will randomly disappear from your log and then show up again at the worst possible moment with a timer.

Looks like someone took my "ngons are great for curved surfaces" to heart and the results are incredible! I have maybe one issue here, but this is a solid example of why I encourage people to experiment! 💯

@ThatNgonGuy Hi bro. Do you think this is a correct use of n-gons, or am I just leeching off the fact that I’m trying to stick them in wherever it’s convenient for me? Below I’ll add a few more closer-angle shots.

That is a fantastic 6-gon there. I don't think I've ever placed one like that before 👀 Well done, sir
