This appears to be a commendable start to a long overdue conversation, given the overarching hostility to Israel and Zionism in the Irish establishment media Hopefully it will spark a most necessary dialogue and some much needed introspection in Irish society, specifically regarding the ways in which Zionism - a fundamental component of contemporary Jewish identity - is all too often depicted as evidence of cosmic evil by so-called "humanitarians" At a time of heightened antisemitism in Ireland, most lately seen in the Dublin hotel debacle, it's important to elevate voices willing to stand up to the most vociferous agitators

I’m curious 🧐 Why would you let any non-citizens of the country have a say in how we allocate citizenship. Ridiculous leftist nonsense. I’m going ask the department of homeland security in the U.S. why I can’t have an input into their laws. Let’s see how that works out.

Here @MichealMartinTD - Remember you straight up lied about the Shanganagh Development right before the election? You said it was 600 houses completed 'on time and in budget.' I visited the development the following week and it was a building site of half built flats. But sure look, whatever it takes to get elected, right?

She’s proud of the violent protestors? Proud of the damage they have done? The looting, the attacks, the fires, the violence against police and innocent citizens? So is Greta going to be charged with inciting violence or be called the “Far-Left” by the media? Or is that only reserved when conservative people do things wrong?

A French left-wing activist mocked those whose livelihoods had been destroyed by violent rioters and looters over the past few days. “Your little shops, that’s real cute,” said Lola-Fleur Whittaker, who defended the rioters during a French television debate. Whittaker tried to draw sympathy, stating that her mother is an English teacher who eats cookies for lunch because she can't “pay for the cafeteria.” However, online users quickly found Whittaker’s social media profiles, where she posts pictures of herself vacationing in places like Oman, the island of Ré, Sicily, the Greek islands, Malaysia, and Egypt. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Manchester, and she offers French lessons for €53 per 50-minute lesson on the platform Preply, where she has already taught 1,709 classes.

What’s happening in France reminds me of how the Islamic conquests brutalised Persia, almost eradicating ancient traditions like Zoroastrianism. Thousands of years of art, history and culture is being destroyed on front of our eyes. It’s time to wake up and see that Europe is facing a modern day eradication of its cultural heritage.

A Palestine necklace being removed from a TV show has thus far generated infinitely more Irish press coverage and media discussion than a prestigious Dublin hotel cancelling a booking of 70 attendees when they learned they were there for a conference on antisemitism. I’m not saying the below doesn’t warrant discussion, it does and I actually disagree with the necklace being removed. But we’ve been inundated with this necklace story for days now. Unlawful discrimination by one of the fanciest hotels in the country is objectively the far bigger story here and it didn’t gain a fraction of the coverage. Indeed, it was widely covered internationally, including by the New York Times, yet to my knowledge there were two articles (RTÉ and Irish Times) on the subject here. Sin é/that’s it. When we talk about media bias, that doesn’t merely encompass content of coverage, but level of coverage as well. What the Irish media chooses to focus on (and in the case of the UEFA fixture against Israel, obsess about for months) is telling in and of itself. A necklace being removed from a show warrants a national discussion, but antisemitic discrimination by a top Dublin hotel does not. The question must be asked: why?
Removing Palestine flag necklace from Cheap Irish Homes episode was a ‘mistake’, says RTÉ buff.ly/x76KSBU

We had an excellent and inspiring time at Battle of Ideas this year, the place to have all the important conversations of our day! Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat. It was wonderful to meet our supporters and learn more about the specific challenges we face in different countries across Europe. Our director Faika @el_nagashi spoke in two sessions: Discussing extremism, she highlighted the dangerous and harmful framing of women’s rights activism as extremist and hateful, and urged us to examine ideological movements in light of their impact on women’s rights, bodies and freedom. In her second session, she exposed the push for bans on conversion practices based on gender identity and gender expression as a European political project. Many more sessions and insightful contributions made for a weekend that showed there is not only much to worry about, but also much to delight in, if we can keep the conversations going! @acadofideas #BattleFest

This says it all. Not only does this woman not care about the welfare of Ireland, or the state it’s in, but she very much only cares about her own circumstance. My advice to her, and anyone who’s moved here is, if you don’t like how this country functions, there’s the door.

Immigrants having “a say” on a country’s immigration policy isn’t a thing. I didn’t have a say on Japan’s immigration laws. My father didn’t have a say on Ireland’s immigration laws.

I’ve seen six articles across Ireland’s mainstream media about a Palestinian flag being blurred out on “A Place in the Rain”, an Irish housing programme. I disagree with RTÉ editing it out, people should have every right to express themselves no matter how ideologically captured they are, but you’d swear we were dealing with a national emergency. Whereas, not too long ago when an Irish man was filmed threatening an Australian Jewish couple in a French supermarket, telling them he wished Hitler had finished the job and threatening to put a bullet in the woman’s head, that story barely got the same level of attention. Then there’s Riad Bouchaker, convicted of attempting to murder three children outside their school in Dublin. The public anger over what happened is very real, yet you’d be convinced your mad for thinking the media were more concerned about policing peoples reactions than understanding why they were furious in the first place. And it’s almost laughable at this stage to pretend RTÉ, or most of the Irish media, are the great defenders of free speech. They’re happy to go mental about censorship when it suits them, but that energy is non-existent when it’s a perspective that drifts from the editors narrative. Journalism should hold everyone to the same standard, not pick and choose which incidents deserve outrage. But sure, a blurred necklace is where we draw the line. The selective outrage in this country is beyond embarrassing.

When the wellbeing of women and children is your North Star, it’s the perverts, psychos and aimless young men with nothing to lose who tend to set your alarms bells off .
I’ve said it before, and no doubt I’ll get legal threats for saying it again, but the tendency of gender critical feminists to veer into xenophobic tropes about mass immigration and ‘suicidal empathy’ is quite extraordinary, and indicates some alarming kind of radicalisation
