Olympic Champion Masai Russell on the biggest issue with Track and Field right now, “The problem with track and field is that every media outlet just wants their check. If everyone could come together and you have one place where you can watch track just like you do during the Olympics on NBC or college football, WNBA…not having to go through all these apps to find track and field.” #sports #trackandfield #outtapocket #RG3

10m Split Time (5m Build-up) Elite / World-Class (Track Sprinters, NFL Skill Positions)1.05 – 1.12 seconds Excellent (College Athletes, High School Standouts)1.13 – 1.22 seconds To achieve these times, 3pt stance is optimal. Please bookmark this and believe less of what you see and hear.

I'm more impressed with the young athlete in the background holding a chin up
These are some impressive depth jumps; minimal hip and knee bend and pretty quick off the ground. Should they always be done from this height? No way. But sometimes it’s fun to push the boundaries.

Production is what athletes need. Levels of talent is what all athletes have. A director makes it all happen. To become a better athlete you must be self motivated and take initiative to learn and apply. Be coachable, learn the concepts, and be a menace in practice.

Wall sits w/ only a single leg to hold you up while the heel is slightly raised is actually building stronger calf muscles and tendon stiffness in the Achilles, Quad and Patellar. This is an intense isometric position that should be paired with elasticity training.

The faster a sprint athlete gets, the more recovery needed from that high intensity training day. A youth sprinter could sprint one day then lift the next day then repeat. A trained, faster stronger sprint athlete will benefit by sprinting and lifting on same day.

Improve Top End Speed with short to long sprints, Loaded and Unresisted Jumps. Perform single leg Bounds, Reactive Strength Exercises(plyometrics), and Depth Drops after Sprinting. Ex. 30m build up 20m sprint x3 DB Squat Jumps 6x1 Single Leg Bounds 3x15m 100% maximal effort.

Build better speed reserve by staying focus on weekly sprint training(acceleration, top end speed, speed endurance) The aerobic system for sprinters can look just like this, running tempo 150- 300's and still consistently training speed as your #1 skill 2x a week.

Make Texas Longhorn Football great again by recruiting Texas a #1 priority. Texas is a national recruiting brand. No need to go out of state to make Texas the best. And yes, every quarterback who has won a national championship for the Texas Longhorns was a native of Texas.

Because I'm learning more about the science behind athletic performance and the biomechanics and physiology capabilities, I do experiment with uncovering new ways to develop strengths that will hopefully turn into production. I never stray far from those who know more than me

Slow eccentric box squats, what are they good for? Acceleration. Braking forces during Stance Phase in Sprinting. Tendon stiffness. The answer: Pure raw force that builds the structural armor for resilient lower body max strength and injury prevention.
So true that it must be stated again— Fast athletes are Strong ! Strong athletes are not necessarily Fast ! Know when, how much and what to do in the weight room when developing speed. Don’t make it the place speed goes to die !

The "Slingshot" ILIOPSOAS is a HIP FLEXOR that connects the lower spine and pelvis directly to the thigh bone. When trained properly it will help your sprint mechanics and faster leg turnover. The "Pullback" Powerful Glutes and Hamstrings The result is a pendulum like action.

Kids are influenced to participate in sports just as they are guided into business careers and specialized professional fields(doctors, architects, dentists, lawyers) Don't be fooled into believing that kids choose what they want to do at an early age solely on their own.

Girls and women love feeling and being strong.
Women’s basketball player 155 lb clean Up 20 lbs in 5 weeks Formula we followed ⬇️ 1) 2x/clean a week 2) Hang & Power Clean Variations 3) Heavy 1-3 reps based by feel for the day Cleans have a huge ROI on athletic development Use them YEAR ROUND

This needs to start being the standard.
Girls need to view the weight room as something to get them strong and keep them HEALTHY. Not something that will make them “bulky” I believe that starts with the hs/club/private coaches When they become confident there you will see it in all aspects of life

You are only as good as your last competition. When you or a team beat another team or person you are now in front of them. Being undefeated matters no matter the circumstances. Hype is B.S.
