Whatever happened to the suggestion box? Establishments used to have a box where you could write an anonymous note on a piece of paper and submit it to them

Lots of people missed this, I think. Soon, @vizorwallet will have quantum-unlinkable swaps, and it doesn't need to wait for a network upgrade. Yet another way it leads the privacy frontier of Zcash right now.
If your Zcash wallet uses NEAR Intents, each swap you make adds your shielded address to a public ledger. A quantum computer could use this to link all your payments that share the same key. In Vizor, each swap will get its own key to prevent this. zakura.com/engineering/quant…

thanks for this post as it has done exactly the same for me. I'm currently recovering after taking it in shot form (20grams a day) - gave me a noisy stomach and weeks of palpitations

That’s probably why he was one of the sickest presidents of all time. Eisenhower had severe cardiovascular and gastrointestinal issues that nearly derailed his presidency. He had a massive heart attack on vacation in Denver, Colorado It was so bad that he was hospitalized for seven weeks. President Richard Nixon and key cabinet members had to quietly manage the executive branch without him. Few months after recovering from his heart attack he was diagnosed with "ileitis" (what we now call Crohn's disease). He suffered a severe bowel obstruction that required immediate, emergency bypass surgery, once again raising public fears about his fitness for a second term. Year after that he had a stroke in the Oval Office It temporarily impaired his ability to speak and use his right hand. That led him to draft a secret agreement with Nixon regarding the transfer of power if he were ever fully incapacitated. He continued to suffer from chronic gallbladder issues (known negative side effect of coffee) and declining heart health and died from heart failure ten years later.

During World War II and the lead-up to the D-Day invasion, Eisenhower regularly drank between 15 and 20 to 24 cups of coffee per day.

Good argument to quit caffeine? It inhibits blood flow to your brain and penis It puts you in a daily state of fight or flight It messes with your pre frontal cortex the past of our brain that makes us humans and allows us to make rational decisions It gives you bad quality of sleep It dehydrates you and and leeches essential minerals

I’m confused by the outrage from certain people around Crosslink. At this point, it’s an R&D effort. There’s no activation proposal or ZIPs, and it isn’t on the mainnet roadmap. It’s a prototype design that we’re testing and iterating on. Research and experimentation are good for Zcash. Permissionless innovation means people can explore ideas without first securing everyone’s agreement, and the Zcash community should encourage that. Good-faith debate is how Zcash improves, and we welcome scrutiny of Crosslink’s design, assumptions, and tradeoffs. We’re working on Crosslink because we think stronger protection against reorg and rollback attacks may be a necessary security upgrade for Zcash at some point. AI or other forces could eventually challenge the security assumptions behind PoW, and our thesis is that a hybrid model may offer stronger security than either pure PoW or pure PoS. Shielded Labs’ mission is to protect the long-term security of Zcash. It’s a common theme across all our projects, including Crosslink, the Network Sustainability Mechanism (NSM), and Epoch. We also demonstrated that commitment by bringing on Taylor Hornby as a security researcher to use AI tools to identify potential vulnerabilities, which uncovered the Orchard counterfeiting bug. We want to address potential risks before they become urgent, and recent events have shown the value of being forward-looking. The burden of proof is on us. If we want Crosslink included in a future network upgrade, it’s our responsibility to demonstrate consensus. But that’s still a long way off. For now, we’re focused on improving the design, incorporating user feedback, and working toward a production-ready implementation for the community and coinholders to evaluate. There’s still a lot of work to do before we’d propose Crosslink for mainnet, and we plan to run it on testnet for an extended period of time. If you disagree with Crosslink, challenge the design and help us understand what we’re missing. We all want Zcash to succeed. Let’s focus on strengthening and protecting Zcash as a whole by giving research and experimentation room to happen. If you're interested in learning more about Crosslink or participating in the incentivized testnet, feel free to DM me.
Crosslink is a proposed hybrid PoW/PoS upgrade for Zcash. By standardizing staking bonds into incremental powers of 10, observers are prevented from easily inferring individual staking patterns, preserving privacy and maintaining accountability among finalizers.

An important leadership change for Zcash. The Zcash Foundation has appointed David Campbell as its new Executive Director. And his background is impressive. Former COO of Electric Coin Company. Co-founder of JumpCloud. Former Chief Security Officer at SendGrid. Nearly 30 years of experience building and securing critical infrastructure. His priorities? Strengthening Zebra. Improving network infrastructure. Making financial privacy easier for everyday users. With NU7 approaching, experienced technical leadership matters. $ZEC @pnlmaxxing

Around half the population carries a genetic variant that significantly impairs their ability to process caffeine.  The gene responsible is CYP1A2. It controls the production of the liver enzyme cytochrome P450 1A2, which breaks down about 95% of the caffeine consumed. An individual's specific genotype for this gene dictates how efficiently their liver clears the molecule from the bloodstream.  Because caffeine leaves the system so slowly, the half-life of the molecule can stretch from an average of 2 to 4 hours up to 8 or 9 hours. This prolonged exposure means slow metabolizers are far more prone to overstimulation and other negative side effects
