Division 3 Post Week 7 Playoff Projections
#wisfb
- The 1 seed picture is starting to get clearer as La Crosse Logan and New Berlin West picked up big wins to further solidify their positions. Plymouth dropped one to West Bend West, but could get their name back in the mix with wins over both Port Washington and Grafton.
- Wisconsin Lutheran has had as up and down of a season as you can have, but it seems they are starting to peak at the right time, knocking off undefeated Homestead. All of a sudden they have a great shot at a 2 seed if they finish 2-0.
- Catholic Memorial hung on for the win that they needed over Brookfield Central. They still have a wide range out outcomes for a seed, but have essentially locked up a playoff spot now. The question will become where they end up at in the bracket? Many high seeds will be hoping to avoid them.
- Green Bay West had arguably their biggest win 30 years. Beating Sheboygan North means that they will be in the playoffs for the first time since 1996 barring something crazy.
- Yes, you are reading that right. Waukesha North can be a 7 seed while going 2-7 on the year. Milwaukee Lutheran and South Milwaukee are their 2 projected wins, and both have escaped the bottom of the Woodland to help out Waukesha North greatly.
- The bubble is still very wide open. Lakeland is the last team in, but they need to win games over Antigo and Rhinelander to have a chance. Tons of big games remain for bubble teams.
