Drivers across Ireland are set to face higher toll charges from 1 January 2027, with increases confirmed for all 10 toll roads on the national road network.
Among the changes, M50 tolls will increase for all vehicle categories. Car drivers with a tag or video account will pay an extra 10c per journey, while those without a tag will see an increase of 20c.
Heavier goods vehicles using the M50 will also face higher charges, with increases varying depending on vehicle type and account registration.
Meanwhile, Dublin Port Tunnel users travelling southbound towards Dublin during peak morning hours (6amโ10am) will pay an additional โฌ1. Toll rates outside these hours will remain unchanged for 2027.
The changes have been approved by the board of Transport Infrastructure Ireland and will come into effect on New Year's Day.
