The greatest city in the world should have the greatest streets in the world 🗽

New York City
We can’t wait to rein in New York City’s most dangerous drivers. That’s why we rallied with state and local elected officials outside City Hall today. Let’s pass the Stop Super Speeders bill into law and slow these reckless drivers down!

This is a great idea! We called for universal countdown clocks in our 2024 bus stop heat report, written in partnership with NASA:
New Yorkers deserves to know when their bus is coming. Through 'Next Stop: Fast Buses, Better Service,' we're going to double the number of bus shelters with real-time information beginning this year... with plans to more than quadruple the number of stops equipped by 2030!

There is a new super speeder on New York City’s streets every 27 minutes. Every day that passes, the urgency grows, the threat to our communities grows, and the risk of unrecoverable loss grows. We urge the City Council to act now.

New York City must ban deceptive marketing around high-speed devices, phase out the fastest e-bikes, establish a trade-in program for the fastest e-bikes, and regulate the delivery app industry.
