I find myself this morning asking why the wealthy seek more wealth. Is it just greed or is it something else? It seems wealth means different things to people on different levels of the economic ladder. To a poor person, wealth means food, clothing, and shelter. To the middle class, it means quality items. To the rich, however, it stops meaning a material thing and becomes security. The more wealth a person acquires, the more enemies he acquires. Ask lotto winners, and they'll tell you. Lawsuits, scams, and predators descend on your doorstep, looking to take what is yours. Now imagine someone who built something. That someone has competitors. Those competitors are trying to pull him down. So, wealth becomes leverage. It means lawyers, it means security, it means influence over regulators (including those under your rivals' influence), and it means enough value to prevent your rivals from buying your industry out from under you. I think that's why we poor and middle class struggle to understand why the rich seek to become richer. To us, it looks like greed. But to them, the rich are locked in an arms race against each other. Should they settle, they risk their own destruction. Sunday morning thoughts.

Nidal Hasan deserves a traitor's death.
My God. I listened to the entire thing. I’m certain now. It should be livestreamed.

Elon’s flying Tesla is the kind of thing that happens only in America. Because free market capitalism is awesome. And it’s no coincidence that all the same people who hate Elon want to destroy it.

I agree with regards to software. If you can think it, AI can build it for the low, low price of nearly zero. Software has just plunged into the technological singularity.
People dont understand how nuclear AI is at this point Adobe is over, good luck Video editing, graphic design, game dev, its evaporating right now The economy is about to transform so fast people are going to have panic attacks maybe even riot.

RE: The Prosecution of Ilhan Omar There are two competing storylines regarding the prosecution of Ilhan Omar. One such storyline is being peddled by the Democrat/Media Complex. The other storyline is one that same media will never report. I’ll let you decide which storyline is which. Storyline #1: An inspiring immigrant woman escaped from poverty, genocide and Communist rule in the poorest nation on Earth, made her own way in the United States and rose to national prominence as a Congresswoman. However, because she is a vocal supporter for social justice, an evil Republican President/fascist dictator has targeted her for abusive prosecution on trumped-up, nonexistent charges. Now she stands for oppressed Americans everywhere as she fights the power. Storyline #2: The wealthy, privileged daughter of a genocidal, Communist Somali army colonel who had been trained in the Soviet Union fled to America with her father so the two could escape torture, imprisonment and execution after the father’s genocidal, Communist regime leader was overthrown. Upon arrival in America, the father and the daughter both committed immigration fraud and illegally obtained U.S. citizenship (or never obtained U.S. citizenship, the story is unclear). The daughter then rose to prominence with the backing of George Soros and his massive network of NGOs and PACs, was elected to Congress, was controlled by Soros and other Neo-Marxist groups who may well have held her illegal alien status over her head to manipulate her, while she maintained close contact with organized crime lords inside Minnesota’s Somali community. The bottom line is that it seems an illegal alien with genocidal Communist roots was illegally elected to Congress where she has spent years promoting Communism, organized crime and destruction of our Constitution and our national institutions. This reads like a Tom Clancy novel, but it’s all true and is one of the worst scandal in U.S. history. Now, finally, a President with iron will is holding her and her network of Communist thieves to account for their crimes. You decide which storyline is true and which is false.

Well said
I’m French. I want to talk to Americans who are about to vote Democrat. Not to insult you. To warn you. I come from your future. In France we did everything your progressive politicians promise. Free healthcare, free college, generous welfare, strong unions, heavy regulation, high taxes on the rich, a state that takes care of everything. Public spending close to 57% of GDP, one of the highest on the planet. On paper, it’s the dream. Here’s what it looks like from the inside. France hasn’t passed a balanced budget since 1974. Our debt is above 3,300 billion euros. Interest on that debt is becoming one of the biggest items in the national budget. Our hospitals are collapsing despite record funding. Our schools rank lower every year. Young people with degrees can’t afford an apartment in the city they were born in. Our best engineers leave for London, Zurich and San Francisco. And the rich you wanted to tax? They left too, and took the jobs with them. The promise was protection. The result is stagnation. The worst part is that nobody in France voted for decline. Every single step sounded generous, compassionate, reasonable. One more program. One more regulation. One more tax to fund it. Each step alone makes sense. Fifty years of them, and you wake up in a country that can no longer build a nuclear plant on time or keep its streets safe. I love America because it’s the one place on earth where people still believe they can build something from nothing. I came to Silicon Valley as a self-taught kid and it changed my life. That spirit is the most precious thing your country has. Before you vote, ask yourself one question: is the program you’re voting for making America more like America, or more like France? Trust me. You don’t want to be France.

Hola, soy palestino. 1947. La ONU me ofreció un estado. Junto a Israel. Fronteras, independencia, reconocimiento. Me dio autonomía. ¿Democracia? No he tenido elecciones en casi 20 años.

What happened to conversations like these?
🚨 MILTON FRIEDMAN (1978): Young lawyer asked Milton about when it is okay for a Govt to force a free citizen to act. Did you get the nuance in Milton's question about the difference between "society" and "govt"... Do you think a man should be free to sin?

Worth reading. There is evil in this world. It helps to remember.
🧵 I just witnessed ~45 minutes of footage of the October 7th terrorist attack at the @AtlanticCouncil courtesy of @IsraelinUSA along with colleagues from think tanks across the ideological spectrum. What I saw was worse than I’ve ever seen. Pure evil. ***Trigger Warning***

I have just completed what I believe to be the most comprehensive evaluation of Charlotte NC arrest records in history. This project has taken me 3 months to complete, combing through over 50,000+ arrest records and mugshots. I've found what appears to be massive fraud. Thousands of Hispanics have been labelled as "WHITE CAUCASIAN" in the arrest records... THOUSANDS. In fact, I found over 500 cases where Hispanics who were arrested more than once... had their "Ethnicity" CHANGED from "Hispanic" to "Caucasian" from one arrest to another. Horrifyingly, I found HUNDREDS of these "White Caucasians" were actually ILLEGAL ALIENS from foreign countries with ICE detainers. Perhaps most disturbing... Many of the illegal aliens who were labelled as "WHITE CAUCASIAN" had already been released back into the public, DESPITE the ICE detainer requesting they stay in prison. We have a serious problem.

I've waited 17 years for this. No, I wasn't any closer than Hood Army Airfield that day. No, I don't have any personal trauma. But I remember the chaos. I remember the feeling of helplessness. I remember the fear from our families. Glad to hear he's going to hell.
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has recommended — and President Donald J. Trump has approved — death by U.S. Army firing squad for convicted terrorist Nidal Malik Hasan, the jihadist who opened fire on unarmed American soldiers at Fort Hood in 2009. He killed 13 people and wounded 32 others while shouting “Allahu Akbar” during the attack. The Secretary of the Army will set the time and place of the execution. Judgement day for Hasan has finally come.

Reported by the Gaza Ministry of Health. If Israel is doing genocide, they're really, really bad at it. If Israel is not doing genocide, then the people who say they are really, really stupid.
The population growth in Gaza over the past years is higher than most Western countries.
