Traditional credit markets can involve 12 or 13 intermediaries between lending and borrowing. @lepsoe, founder of @ETHGasOfficial, calls banking “glorified spreadsheets” and says smart contracts could cut most of those layers. The catch? Those intermediaries have a financial incentive to stay in the middle.

NEW: @Injective signs an MOU with @BDACSKorea to bring KRW1, a Korean won-backed stablecoin, to the network. This would let Korean investors and institutions access onchain markets in their own currency and settle trades directly in won, rather than having to convert to USD stablecoins. Eric Chen (@ericinjective), Co-founder and CEO of Injective, recently explained on @_TalkingTokens how being onchain changes access to capital: "The advantage of being onchain is the efficiency gain and also the ease of access to capital. If you want to invest in something, you have to go through a very, very long process filling out all the forms. Once you’re [onchain], you have access to a very broad plethora of asset offerings. So it’s kind of like a one and done deal. It’s just about identifying those who are denied or priced out of the traditional infrastructure, [and] bring them onchain."

"How Injective Is Building Financial Markets Onchain" A great episode with @ericinjective on @_TalkingTokens Mentioning the SEC transfer Agent and @injective being one of the only if not the only L1 blockchain that has it 0:08 Covering RWA perps growth 2:09 $215M+ in RWA perpetual volume & whether perps are the future of RWAS Eric highlighted the opportunities that assets & business owners have. > Saying that if you have an interesting asset or a strong business you can just tokenize it, you can raise funding and you will be on chain forever. Opening the door for an audience that you have never faced before next to a lot of other service providers
Injective will be the new home of RWAs

Most blockchains were built years ago on a root design that replicates data to everyone, so privacy has to be added on as an afterthought. Canton was built the other way, privacy as an inherent property of the chain from the start. @YuvalRooz discusses with @_TalkingTokens.

NEW: @Securitize can now mint and redeem stablecoins directly with @Anchorage Digital Bank, the first federally chartered crypto bank in the US, cutting out intermediaries. IS TOKENIZATION ABOUT TO ENTER ITS COLLATERAL ERA? @Citi Research put out a report on @Aave yesterday stating that collateral mobility "may ultimately prove to be one of tokenization's most important use cases" For those who listen to @_TalkingTokens - this may sound familiar as our guests have said: - @carlosdomingo of @Securitize called the collateral use case "potentially a huge one" - @jillfriedman of @symbioticfi told me tokenized assets have to be as usable "as collateral in lending markets" - @GregoryLBell of @hashgraph said "the value proposition in many ways is collateral mobility" - @YuvalRooz of @CantonNetwork said "collateral management will probably be the first thing that scales" ...Time will tell!

An institution wants to buy $1 billion of an asset onchain. What stops someone from front-running the trade? @lepsoe, founder of @ETHGasOfficial, says institutions also need clarity on where transaction fees go. His pitch: fix MEV so big trades don't get sandwiched.

AI agents tend to follow the path of least resistance. Kevin Lepsoe (@lepsoe), founder of @ETHGasOfficial, says agents can't even get API access to a bank account, but they can “run wild on DeFi.” Could AI agents accelerate onchain adoption?

Last week, @evernorthxrp went public on Nasdaq, with plans to put its 473M $XRP treasury to work. We asked its CEO, Asheesh Birla (@ashgoblue), what that looks like: "The idea is to generate an increase [in] XRP per share, and you do that by yield opportunities around XRP."

As Rubail Birwadker, SVP, Head of Growth Products & Partnerships at @Visa, told us a year ago: "If we can provide that acceptance footprint to the hundreds of millions of customers around the world that are holding crypto or stablecoins in their custodial wallets, I think it’s a win-win."
TODAY: @Visa and @meshpay announced a partnership to make crypto and stablecoin balances spendable at 175M+ merchant locations They plan to provide access straight from the wallet apps people already use and require no separate card. "Visa's network spans upwards of 175 million merchant locations across more than 200 countries and territories, with $14.2 trillion in payments volume in fiscal 2025. This partnership is designed to make that footprint reachable directly from a crypto or stablecoin balance," the press release stated.
