Artists receive political education in frameworks including the Solidarity Economy, Ecological Justice, and Just Transition. Working with organizations on the frontlines of our movements, we distribute art to the people and places where it is meaningful, beloved, and strategic.

ALT Dear CTM workers, artists, performers.
It contunes to violate the community-led boycott of Berghain. The boycott is due to Berghain's censorship of artists in solidarity with Palestine.
ALT In their post on Gaza (17.10.23), CTM used passive voice for Israel's actions, making Palestinians the aggressor and calling genocide a "humanitarian situation". CTM has never retracted this. Such "both sides" statements by institutions help manufacture consent for genocide while obscuring the colonial basis of the encounter.
ALT We are reaching out to workers, artists and performers who are booked at CTM who might care. We felt it was important to inform you about this in case you were unaware. CT; uses "giving a platform" to radical artists and initiatives to whitewash and distract from their deep complicity, which is very much in line with the fascist German government and Berlin Senate.
ALT We hope you will join others like CRRDR, who have already withdrawn from CTM 2026 in solidarity with Palestine. Watch CRRDR's withdrawal statement. A full version of the open letter is available at the link in the tweet.

Important to be reminded of the power of music in these times. All art can be used as propaganda so the artist must take sides & make music that not only reflects the times but that consciously propels us to shift & repurpose our reality away from escape & into direct action.
Dave Matthews: “I don’t want my taxes to pay for ICE masked thugs to roam our streets and terrorize our communities. Renee Nicole Good, murdered in the streets. He shot her three times in the head. Murdered in cold blood. These people are trying to tell us not to believe what we see. Fuck ICE”

everyone's mourning it, but where's the 'so what do we do now?' Here's the good news: artists and media makers aren't waiting around. They're already building something better in the spaces the corporate media empires ignore.
