FREE MARKETS ARE GOOD FOR FAIR COMPETITION
Keep in mind the hurdle in AI revenues needed to justify the AI Capex compared to what’s happening with DeepSeek market share grab. Wow

Cyber will be one of the most defining domains for AI in the coming years, and a huge area of focus for most enterprises. AI is going to now create a whole new level of work for security dealing with the increase of vibe coded issues, agentic attacks, and even accidental agent swarms hunting for data. OpenAI + Hugging Face is just a preview of what’s to come. Security teams have often been the most strapped for resources teams in the enterprise, and now it’s only going to get more intense. AI agents of course become the solution to this problem as well, and we’ll see a range of new agentic products for protecting code, enterprise systems, mission critical infrastructure, and enterprise data. Huge opportunity here right now. And it’s going to be a booming market for cyber professionals that can effectively deploy agents for security purposes in the enterprise. Great time to be in security.
Cyber is having a moment Across 21 major software companies, including Apple, AWS, Microsoft, and Google: - Reported critical vulnerabilities never cleared 100 per month in four years - Since spring they've jumped to over 600 per month

Very insightful. Long time sentdex fan
I've been on the hunt for any decision language model that actually performs generally useful tasks with robotics, including vision based ones like clef. repeatedly, the finding I have is that these models are not overall intelligent enough to replace specialized RL/ACT/VLAs, or larger general purpose multimodal LLMs, for the actual reasoning and understanding parts. Because I'm still needing to make a call to this style model, there really aren't any significant gains. I have also tested converting GLM 5.3 Flash (a general purpose and decently large/intelligent multimodal LLM) to just softmax over logits (copying the SemIF recipe that does work well on smaller models and competes with jev...etc), and this *also* does not work well in robotics, because the GLM 5.3 Flash model, and others like it, are trained deliberately to get a lot of performance and intelligence (read: usefulness, effectiveness) from doing test time compute. It has left me really wondering where this "decision" style of model will actually fit in. I thought vision enabled variants could be possibly epic, but I just keep finding when I put them into real robotics pipelines, they just aren't better than other techniques. Maybe we just still have yet to figure out how to best utilize these models. If you've seen any cool (non-priv data) robotics example using these decision models, please share!

working at a higher level of abstraction has always required understanding the lower level ones, I don't think coding agents changes this

a weird inversion with LLMs is the models improve faster than the tinkerers when i see people with custom workflows and setups they're all addressing problems that don't exist anymore the person naively using vanilla codex is more likely to be experiencing state of the art

I am gonna say something risky: Most of the FDEs I've seen are solving BS problems. 1. Existing enterprise workflows were designed around people, not agents. 2. Real AI gains require rebuilding the org chart. 3. Most execs have no incentive to do that, and most CEOs aren't in founder mode. 4. So FDEs automate the status quo, because that's what's easy to sell. But the status quo is stupid and will be obsolete. 5. If you FDE on critical workflows, 1) enterprises are really this dumb to hand off trade secrets? 2) if you know that, shouldn't you start a competing firm? If you FDE on non-essential AND soon-obselete workflows, did you learn anything meaningful and repeatable? 6. If you are a smart young FDE, why spend your best years automating dying workflows and managing people who fear AI will take their jobs? Shouldn't you start an agent-native firm from scratch in that industry instead? Analogy would be, instead of teaching everyone to be AI builders within a tech company, you as FDE build agents that auto-ingest meeting notes for PM, QA, front-end, back-end, devops, UX and help each of them write PRD, Figma, and meeting notes faster for their sync meeting, but the right solution should be to shrink roles, hire full-stack AI builders, and kill meetings. You gain lots of experience with your PRD/Figma/standup meeting sync agents but it's a useless skill. I am not a FDE expert so I might oversimplify things. I am genuinely curious about this topic and welcome any critiques and comments.

I've spent the last weeks coding a market making bot using Jev + GPT-6 Astra and you won't believe what I found 👀 - Pulled 3,621,407h worth of data - Integrated 29 DEXs & CEXs - Tested 247 different strategies - Simulated $826 million in total volume The results 👇 Return %: You are an absolute moron for clicking on a post with a flashy vibecoded slop graphic and thinking it would add any value to your life
