A juxtaposition of grief and gratitude. 💔❤️ Ran the Chicago Marathon Sunday for Rachna, with her memory engraved on my medal. She lived with such light, vivacity, and tenacity, even facing her own mortality. Ran for you, Rach. We will carry your light always. 🙏🏽❤️ #TeamShroff

get this done for our wonderful @rachnatshroff. I’ve known Rachna for a while, but witnessing her current journey has left me even more profoundly inspired. Nothing but absolute conviction to her work & cancer patients with the most graceful resilience.

Terribly awkward speaking picture but incredibly wonderful day spent at Vandy! Great science and truly such a great group of colleagues and friends. Looking forward to all the great collaborations. Thanks again for inviting me
I would like to thank @aparna1024 @MassGenBrigham for serving as our inaugural @VUMCDiscoveries #strategicrelations visiting faculty to discuss a possible collaboration for our #ctDNA platforms in #colorectalcancer. Great talk! 👏 She’s a wonderful friend and colleague!

Few FIT tests given & 1 person set up with the @MassGenBrigham community health team to help navigate their colo. My 2/3 helpers giving out stars on passport cards for folks who stopped by the #crc table. Thanks @javawithJimmy @Jbetancourtpr @RickLee6 for another amazing year!

a hard loss to process. Asal was a remarkable person and the world needed Asal longer. Her advocacy for young adults facing colorectal cancer was as powerful as it was compassionate, driven by her own experience & unwavering determination to create change. Rest easy, friend.
Heartbroken by the loss of Asal Sayas, a champion in the fight against young adult cancer and HIV/AIDS. Asal was a treasured friend, organizer, and advocate. My heart is with her family and community as they suffer this tremendous loss. Asal will be missed.

Proud to be an investigator on this study! For many years now, I have taught our fellows that they can no longer just say KRAS mutant (need to specify variant). Now, this is the first for p53 Y220C today with more to come.
In a phase 1 study of the oral p53 reactivator rezatapopt in heavily pretreated patients with TP53 Y220C–mutated solid tumors, the most common adverse events were nausea and vomiting, and the overall response was 20%. Less novel from when we first set out to do this, but we thought it was important to look at our own data not just in terms of ICI response but to put more numbers behind what the median OS is in a non-LM versus LM population to help with understanding of benefit.
🚀Happy to share our @MassGenBrigham study led by @aparna1024 .🔆In MSS mCRC, absence of liver mets identifies patients more likely to benefit from ICIs, with longer OS and PFS. 🎯Important implications for patient selection and trial design‼️ aacrjournals.org/cancerresco…

Allele‑specific #p53 therapy is evolving. New data in Y220C show two resistance patterns: loss‑of‑function DNA‑binding mutations and crevice‑site changes that block drug binding, driving clonal selection under treatment pressure. Opens door for next‑gen of drugs

I have received a few notes re participating in RER. We’d love to have more on board! We are still a new & lean nonprofit so may not be able to support FTE (yet!) but there are ways to still be involved! And of course, always happy to talk to pharma, biotech and diagnostics!
Also, really proud of our first investigator meeting of our MRD nonprofit consortium (and share our logo!) #GI26
