I make them with AI so it's all prompted. The time spent is just selecting the right ones that come out well and tweaking or figuring out a new prompt for every new character.
I'm over 4000 RebelKin in but I have probably generated 20000+ images to pick those.
I got like maybe 2 out of the screenshots below that I actually liked. Now imagine that for 5777 characters.
It's not "hard" work it's just tedious and nitpicky curation.
