The thought crossed my mind to implement code signing for client generated attestation that CI could validate in order to skip certain checks. Has Apple been right all along/!?!?! /s

After hearing the KFC is switching to Coke in all of their stores, I think it’s safe to say that the cola wars are over and Pepsi has clearly lost. I know this is kind of a silly little thing, but I love seeing this kind of long term grind (coke domination) happen

Excited to announce @withscuba today with @noah_weiss and scuba team! Scuba is shared memory that is everywhere your team works - coding agents, slack, your phone. Capture anything so you never lose a great idea and always start with the right context. scuba.app
Today @dolapo and I are introducing Scuba, the shared context engine for teams and their agents. Never lose a great idea. Capture anything, share what matters, and keep your people and agents aligned as you move faster together. Everyone is moving faster on their own with AI. But so few teams feel they’re moving smarter together. The models aren't intelligence bound anymore. They're context constrained. Scuba is the shared memory your team has been missing. Put it to work in Slack, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and any tool that supports MCP. We run our whole company on it, with under two hours of meetings a week. We’re emerging out of stealth with $34M. We’re grateful to @accel for leading our pre-seed and co-leading our seed with @ivp, alongside @BoxGroup, @conviction, @homebrew, and @ScribbleVC. Our angels include the founders of Slack (@stewart @iamcal), Instagram (@mikeyk), Stripe (@patrickc), LinkedIn (@reidhoffman & Jeff Weiner), Salesforce (@parkerharris), Datadog (@oliveur), Vanta (@christinacaci), Harvey (@winstonweinberg), Dropbox (@drewhouston), Abridge (@ShivdevRao), Duolingo (@severinhacker), Granola (@cjpedregal), Warp (@zachlloydtweets), Zynga (@markpinc), Groupon (@andrewmason), Coda (@shishirmehrotra), Opendoor (@ericwu01), and Flatiron Health (@zachweinberg). scuba.app

Whelp I got banned on @github randomly with 0 warning or explanation after 15+ years. Not a repo taken down, my entire account removed. 100s of repos, deploys, and logins. Decades of history at various org’s. Gone. Support ticket filed, but 2 days later no response, and no reason why… 😭😭😭 On the off chance any of my followers work at GitHub, any chance you could help escalate this support ticket, thanks 🙏 4847303 Only info I have is an automated sweep marked my account as maybe violating the terms, and requires manual review. Which I don’t think I did? But if I did on accident, I’m happy to fix & remedy any way I can. I dont understand why they wouldn’t pull down a single repo if there was an issue. I just want my account back. I have literal years of my life and work saved there. This sucks. Trust broken.

No, wrong. As it (apparently?) needs to be said: DCs are designed to make sure that the outlet of one machine does not constitute the inlet of another (viz. hot aisle/cold aisle) -- and the only thing being revealed here is the contagion of fear. bcantrill.dtrace.org/2026/09…
OpenAI's Noam Brown says air-gapping the computers may not stop a misaligned AI, because two air-gapped machines can still talk by running a CPU hot and reading the temperature change "But I think the major takeaway from the incident is that people underestimated the AI. And we never want to be in a situation again where we underestimate the AI. It's a weird world, because AI progress is so fast that people are consistently underestimating the AI." "So to be in a situation where you don't underestimate it again, when it comes to safety and alignment, you have to have a very, very, very high bar." "You could even go as far as to say, "Well, we should air gap the computers." And I'm not convinced that that would be sufficient." "There are studies, and this is mostly academic, where you can have two computers next to each other that are air-gapped and they're still able to communicate with each other because they have temperature sensors." "One of them is able to run their CPU really hot, and then the other one can actually detect the temperature change, and then that actually gives them a mechanism to communicate." _________ Link and more key quotes from OpenAI's safety related conversations: firesidealpha.substack.com/p…
