I thought this was interesting. This was Google AI’s take on one of the more popular naming conventions that worked in .AI first name .AI they seem to think it does not work at all with .SI.
Why First Names Worked with .ai:
An AI is built to mimic a persona, a chatbot, or a virtual assistant. When you name an AI, you give it a human first name (like Siri, Alexa, Claude, or Harvey). So buying FirstName .ai made sense because companies want to brand their AI assistants as personal, relatable entities.
Why First Names Fail completely with .si:
Superintelligence is not a friendly little personal assistant or a chatbot. It is a massive, god-like synthetic infrastructure, a global framework, or a monumental technical system. You don’t name a global Superintelligence "Bob" or "Sarah." You name it using conceptual, structural, or enterprise terms
