Utter rubbish !
I'm not an Elon hater. I'm just telling you the Honest Truth: This is a marketing stunt. The technology is quite old. Just nobody ever thought of bolting it on a car. Because it's pointless. Porsche or Ferrari could also build something like this if they wanted, but they don't, because it's not worth it for them. It's worth it for Elon though, because his entire brand is all about having the halo of futurism. His marketing scales especially well with tech gimmicks like this, which is why he is financially incentivised to do them, while others aren't. Again, I'm not hating, but actually educating yall. This is not engineering genius. It's marketing genius.

$250M in new funding. A $1.5B valuation. A conviction that the way we engineer the physical world is about to change. Today, Vinci announces our Series B, co-led by @adventintl , @Temasek and Xora Innovation, with participation from @AMD Ventures, @EclipseVentures , @khoslaventures, @MadronaVentures and others. This investment backs a future where physics intelligence becomes foundational to how hardware is designed and built. For decades, engineers have rationed analysis, narrowed exploration and committed to decisions before knowing the physical consequences. Vinci’s Continuous Physics Reasoning makes deterministic, solver-accurate physical understanding continuously available as designs evolve. It is already running on more than 40 flagship production engineering programs. This round fuels our next chapter: expanding across more physics and more of the hardware economy, moving from understanding what will happen to helping engineers determine what should change. Semiconductors are the proving ground. The ambition reaches everything we build. Thank you to our customers, team and investors for making this possible. The next era of hardware engineering is taking shape. We’re building for it.

“This is the best time to build.” Eclipse Founder and CEO Lior Susan joined @sourceryy's @MollySOShea to talk about why we built Eclipse differently, the bet we made on the physical economy a decade ago, and why the opportunity is bigger than ever. For the full conversation: bit.ly/3VdkTgt

Robotics is about to discover why there aren’t 43 Teslas. Over the next 3-5 years, the fundraising story for Robotic companies will shift from lab demos to the factory floor. Demos → paid pilots → volume production → profit. Each step will eliminate companies that looked unbeatable at the previous one. I helped scale manufacturing at @Tesla and @Rivian. Twice through that chasm. It’s bloody hard. The demo, while necessary, barely hints at what’s coming.

We’re automating 100k lb arms! Most fun and most interesting technical work of my life. Check out Vincent’s talk from the Ray Summit
In his recent talk at @anyscalecompute's Ray Summit, Bedrock’s Vincent Gonguet covered how the company was able to get to commercial deployments of fully autonomous excavators in only two years, and ways they use Ray to power the stack: heterogeneous CPU and GPU pipelines, mining ambiguous multimodal field data, and a closed-loop simulator that models everything down to the dirt.

Building companies has been part of Eclipse’s DNA from day one. Today, the latest company we built alongside @Amirfrenkel, @DanBarak, and team is emerging from stealth. @NoetiveAI is bringing operational intelligence to the physical economy, built alongside customers in the environments it’s designed to transform. More on how it came together: bit.ly/46owr2X

I’m a retired brain surgeon and I wanna tell you why you feel like life is passing by. I just need one minute to explain this to you so hang in there. Repetitive daily routines stop the brain from recording clear detailed memories. When every day looks the same, your brain does not track time the same as a clock does. It tracks change. If nothing new happens then days, months, and years start to blur together. This is know as Time compression. When life lacks variety, your brain compresses past days together, making it feel like time is sped up. To stop feeling like life is passing you by, add new experiences to your life. Break routine habits, like changing your daily home routine, taking a different route to work, or trying a new hobby. Schedule small trips or plan new adventures so your days do not blend together. Practice mindfulness by staying fully focused on what you are doing right now and not trying to race off to the next task. Keep a journal and write down happy memories or memorable parts of the day before you go to sleep. Take deep, calm breaths when you feel anxious or rushed to return your focus to the moment. You can and you will retrain your brain to not feel like life is passing you by by following these few simple measures.

Construction has normalized failure: projects delivered late, over budget and painfully slowly. @ReframeSystems is changing that by turning construction into manufacturing. @Vikas_Enti, Aaron and @RBEngineer are taking the lessons learned from building Amazon’s fulfillment infrastructure and applying them to the built world - creating the most scalable infrastructure for delivering the built environment - everything from homes to commercial buildings to defense infrastructure. Now they have another $40M to scale it. The future of construction is manufacturing! Let’s go @ReframeSystems !

@ReframeSystems is expanding across North America. $40M in new financing. New MA microfactory that can produce up to 500 multifamily units or 250 single-family homes annually. Goal: 1M homes by 2040. Thanks to @rocketalignment at @theinformation for the exclusive.
