Six projects from the last few weeks that caught our attention: A wildfire analysis prototype that maps the fire’s spread over time and tracks hot spots, made with Opus 5.5.

you missed the new open world game from legendary game developer @_chuckyc
ok... uh so I'm making a game... it's like if GTA & Apple Maps v1 had a baby And that baby was a custom built engine that streams in OpenMapTiles (plus some other public domain mapping data) to render the entire earth as a playable open world game Engine is all C++ with Metal (and Vulcan) renderer - which means this thing runs on ALL Apple platforms... yes even that one (ok not the watch... yet) Right now it's just a sandbox world. No "game" - just layers and layers of systems. Earth scale procedural weather systems (rain, storms, clouds, wind, KpI, tornadoes, hurricanes, etc) which means you can see them coming from the distance and travel across the landscape in a timelapse. And every building has a procedurally generated interior. There's also tons of vehicles, skateboarding (with skateparks), snowboarding (with ski resorts & lifts) Also a photography mode with all sorts of fun goodies The whole thing is a bit mad. Work's been insane right now and I wind down before bed by going through all of the work Claude has done that day, playtesting, writing up new project plans, and then kicking off the next day's projects across my 3 Macs in my house wirring on this all day with Opus 5.5 (maybe save that explainer for another crazy person Twitter screed) Anyway, curious what you think. Now I can post my little updates here instead of blowing up all my group chats with the weird ideas I'm trying next.

@claudeai notice me senpai :S , im building a full fledged agentic game engine + editor, that will make claude agent a bigboss in computer graphics :D ; it runs both native and on the web , which means literally you could open a web tab inside claude code and just open the engine and voila DONE

Saw these and thought "super cool but none will make any money" but then realized that's weak-minded thinking. Everything great starts with an idea or proof of concept. The people making this shit will dabble and have that ah-ha moment and go on to create great software. Kudos to them!

I started my game about an AI Lab with Opus 5.5 😁
I've been making a little game about running an AI lab. You start in a garage in 2017 with $1.5M, two co-founders and one GPU rack. The Transformer paper hasn't come out yet. The goal is to reach AGI before everyone else. Without ending the world, ideally.

你写了一句“I'm fine, thank you, and you?”。

exactly. six projects, none of them demos on a stage. a wildfire tracker, a font built from 120 handwritten pages, a 3d heart drug tool, and an ai that wrote 20 haiku and drew every frame itself. the card has all six.

Built a darkroom engine. It uses my film negatives. The engine creates non finito “prints”. Viewers can steer, refill, play with settings, but the results are always within the unfinished, imperfect or even failed aesthetics. The final artworks are the printing/developing experience. Non finito is a tradition inherited from the Italian renaissance which is all about showing process and leaving an artwork incomplete. Additionally it’s all inscribed on Bitcoin, immutably, forever. Claude helped me model the darkroom (negative manipulation, enlarger settings, paper textures and reaction to light exposure, development processes) across 108 versions of the engine, over 8 months of fine tuning. The trailer video and my website were also made with the help of opus 5.5.
Introducing In Development, Non Finito Chapter III 🎞️ Rather than simply release my film photographs as static images, I decided to inscribe the negatives and build an onchain darkroom instead, to let collectors develop their own prints. Process and release details below 🧵
