Agreed. Amy is conflating a true trauma with being attacked for being a liar, which she is. When someone calls you out for being a liar you canโt just say โI was harmed as a childโ as a defense. Whether or not you like the ad is a different story than who would be the best governor. She would be a DISASTER!!! @VivekGRamaswamy will be a CHAMPION. That is the basis worth voting on. Not a 30 second commercial.
If Amy Acton suffered abuse as a child, she has my sympathy. However, nothing sheโs said or done has inspired me to vote for her. Sheโs campaigning as a moderate Dem, but so did Virginia governor Spanberger who now supports males in womenโs sports & sanctuary city policies
that make it easier for migrant children to be rape trafficked.
Some would say Acton showing up at campaign stops apparently drunk is the biggest of all red flags. However for me itโs the fact that she refuses debate her opponent @VivekGRamaswamy Anyone running for office should be able to defend the positions they claim to hold. #ohiovoter

Acton then tried to downplay her elitism, which made the voter look at her skeptically.

Iโm so glad that we changed the conversation! But letโs be clear, not one Democrat was there for the battle when I led the charge. In fact, one of them said that we would have the blood of trans kids on our hands. Now they are trying to rewrite history.
In 2023, when Ohio Republicans passed the SAFE Act to ban biological men in womenโs sports & prohibit sex change surgeries for minors, every Ohio media outlet called it โcontroversialโ & every Democrat voted against it.
This is how Democrats talk about the issue now. Theyโre in a complete & utter retreat. Good.

I alway make it a point to look my challenger in the eye, shake their hand and say something kind. So often candidates try to dehumanize one another. I want them to know that I am a real person and to know that I know that they are as well. It is so much easier to lie and make nasty , unfounded accusations when we forget that public servants are people too.

We proved over and over again that surgeries indeed were happening to minors. Even Cincy Childrenโs finally admitted to making referrals that werenโt โreferralsโ after interrogation by @BrianStewartOH. They just told people where to go and get surgeries. I personally spoke an an Anesthesiologist who was in the room. Scott Leibowitz at Nationwide said that top surgery was the most frequent โGACโ surgery for minors on a podcast. This is all documented in my public testimony, Along with screenshots of social media that is moderated by the hospital discussing surgery on minors. @MorganTrau you covered this extensively and should know this.

Somani claims "Under 18, there is not a single surgery that's been done here in the state."
But @ColleenNBC4 reported these WERE happening in Ohio. We demand a retraction.
