LIGHTNING LABS LAUNCHES WAVELENGTH ON BITCOIN MAINNET, ENABLING AI AGENTS TO MAKE AUTONOMOUS PAYMENTS
Lightning Labs has opened Wavelength to everyone, allowing AI agents to send and receive Bitcoin payments over Lightning without human approval for each transaction.
Agents can autonomously pay for API calls, purchase data, and transact with other agents for fractions of a cent using Lightning and L402, without credit cards, accounts, or API keys.
Developers can integrate payments into apps without running Lightning nodes, managing channels, or sourcing liquidity.
The self-custodial toolkit supports independent on-chain exits, with initial limits of 300,000 sats per wallet and a 0.25% service fee on Lightning payments.
Wavelength remains in alpha, with stablecoin support planned.

Day 1 of the Bitcoin Educators Academy in Lagos, organized by @AmityAge in partnership with @DigiOats and supported by the @HRF’s Bitcoin Development Fund, challenged all participant to rethink how Bitcoin is taught.
From storytelling and public speaking to making complex ideas relatable, the lesson was clear: better communication leads to better Bitcoin education.

This 2,5-day workshop won't be about listening, it will be about practicing how to talk about Bitcoin with your friends, family, colleagues, and anyone else, in a way that makes them actually want to listen. :)
Soft skills like public speaking, handling objections, and knowing how to inspire change are often underestimated, yet they're among the most important.

DigiOats has been hosting programs that give open access, but this $390/person workshop sponsored and 100% subsidized already by @AmityAge with their @HRF grant is highly selective and merit-based. The participant list keeps me wondering.
It includes the Harrac Network CEO, representatives from @roqqupay , top educators, developers, and OTC traders.
I am taking the next flight to Lagos tomorrow. 🛫
Glad I had a great polo🐴 tournament and @spendinaf made an impact. I am now anxious about what @DigiOats , my Island peeps, and Nigeria Bitcoiners have next week. LFG🚀
