We are hiring Systems Embedded Engineer at Philyron! We're building a predictive maintenance system for the maritime industry to shift operations from calendar-based maintenance to truly proactive care, saving costs and preventing downtime. Our hardware sensors (vibration, thermal, and acoustics) attach to critical vessel parts to monitor health in real time and predict failures based on data trends. We've already deployed our sensors to commercial operators and are expanding to government vessels as a dual-use technology. Want to help us build the intelligence layer for maritime maintenance? DM me!

had a in person meeting with retired 3 star general and congressman that brought BART to the Bay yesterday. (sorry @speedrun for leaving early) opportunities and exposure you gain as a founder is incomparable. it is surreal how some founders can consider going back to school.

happy to share we are the first maritime startup to join @speedrun! less than a year ago, i was serving in the Korean army and now iam grateful to be on this journey with @kaylasemiilee The maritime industry is one of the last remaining legacy industries largely untouched by emerging technological developments. We strongly believe we can change the industry by improving the way we approach ship maintenance. We are building a predictive maintenance platform for ship operators to identify mechanical failures and prevent unplanned downtime and maintenance costs. If you are in maritime adjacent industry including shipping, port terminals, and defense, we would love to chat. Excited for what to come next!

talk with @pmarca and @andrewchen ❌ tech is not the moat ❌ data is not the moat ✅ only speed of a startup is the moat

the hustle culture of sf completely eliminates the time to make friends other than your co-workers that's something we set out to change in the residency, community is valued just as much as your ARR the friends you make here last a lifetime so if you’re planning to move to sf one day we look forward to seeing you 🫶

<3% acceptance rate. 90 residents. My co-founder and I are the only Koreans who made the cut at this cohort's @theresidency . Last Saturday, I was at the SF Residency’s orientation which led me to meet with a lot of very interesting residents. It turns out getting into one of SF’s 5 signature residencies didn't just give us a bed and a chef. It dropped us into the epicenter of 5 distinct residencies in SF: • Deep Tech & Research savants pushing boundaries • Bio-startup founders rewriting healthcare • Hardware hackers building the physical future • AI architects training the next generation of models It’s an ecosystem split into 5 specialized houses. But we didn't come here just to "network." We came to compress 3 years of trajectory into 3 months. It is a great GTM strategy to start fresh and find the right users globally. Finding the right customer and building a product that users are more than satisfied with is the most important traction I will be searching for within the next 3 months. Some might ask why set goals at a fast pace? Because when you live with hardware hackers and bio-founders rewriting healthcare, "average" growth isn't just slow.
