I see them threatening and wishing death upon others in the scene over the election results! The same threats that would get a man… especially a black man in the gaming space a lifetime ban! I know the TO’s don’t want to really deal with this type of stuff and don’t blame them. Street Fighter, like Masters of the Universe, is a movie that is embarassed of its source material. It is plagued in millennial, ironic, reddit humor that refuses for even a moment to be sincere. Every single man is emasculated. There is boot licking. There are pervert men who get kicked in the balls; many men are kicked in the balls. The film is rife with self deprication. "It's for the fans" is a lie, this is a grift with fight choreography. Guile is great and Cody Rhodes is wasted on this film. Ryu's actor thinks he's doing a Mr. Miyagi parody and whispers every line of dialogue. Ken is robbed of an emotional arc because the movie really hates him for some reason. I wanted to do a review video tonight and go live, but frankly - I'm tired, boss. I'm tired of every piece of media either hating the property being adapted or too cowardly to give the property the sincerity it deserves.

Let this be an example… the movie industry cannot make successful video game to big screen adaptation… failed with Mortal Kombat movies, Tekken movies, Street-fighter movies. this is not a jab at the actors. producers or film crew…. Horrendous story adaptation.
