Genuine concern: how long can telcom towers in Haryana go on without the discom electricity grid? Do you have adequate backup/alternative power source if electricity strike continues? @airtelindia @ViCustomerCare @JioCare

It is beyond me that how can people think that farmers have a blessed life, that farmers are a pampered lot, while it is the other way around; farmers are battered by nature, by policy makers, by consumers, by markets, by God himself. Farmers are the punching bag for one and all.
One thing is clear today: farming has become one of the most jealoused and abused professions. People are simply jealous of farmers, yet they don’t have the guts to do farming themselves!! 😀

More than 70% of Punjab’s paddy has already been harvested. I’ve personally harvested my crop and chosen not to burn the stubble. That decision alone is costing me around ₹3,500–4,000 per acre close to ₹4 lakh out of my own pocket just for cleaner air and a better environment. No government support. No meaningful incentives. Yet, year after year, Punjab’s farmers are blamed for Delhi’s pollution and accused of not paying taxes. A simple question: would you be willing to spend ₹4 lakh from your own pocket purely for the environment? Before blaming every farmer in Punjab, understand the cost many of them are willingly bearing. Salute to every such farmer. 🌾🇮🇳

The Election Commission of India is under fire like never before. The SIR has struck 13 crore names off draft rolls, putting the EC at the centre of intense public debate over its role in deciding who gets to vote — and who doesn’t. HOWEVER, what nobody knew: through that same period, some of the sharpest questions were being asked from inside. Out today, after months of work. Our #ExpressInvestigation 🧵 (1/10)

What a pity that the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, regarded as the head of Sikhism’s highest temporal seat, had to argue with local police and BSF personnel simply to offer prayers at the Zero Line. A deeply striking picture of the gap between faith and access.
Jathedar of Akal Takht Sahib who led a group a devotees towards the Darshan Sthal (also known as the Kartarpur Corridor Border Viewing Area) in Gurdaspur was stopped by the BSF. Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj wanted to pray (ardas) for reopening of Kartarpur Corridor. @ndtv

The cheetahs that landed in Kuno in 2022 still thought June was winter. Because in Namibia, it is. Shorter days. Cooler nights. A thicker coat growing in, exactly as their bodies had been doing for generations south of the Equator. India does the opposite. June is heat and monsoon. Same months, inverted world. So some of them grew a winter coat in the middle of an Indian summer. The fur held the rain. Ticks moved in. Collars rubbed wet skin. They scratched. Wounds opened. Maggots followed. Three adults didn’t make it. Nobody had a textbook for this. Not the Namibian team. Nor the Indian scientists. The pineal gland only reads night length. The ones who lived through a full year began to reset. The cubs born here never had the old clock at all. Thirty-two of them opened their eyes under northern daylight. Their coats, their breeding, their sense of when winter arrives - already Indian. That is the quiet part of the 52. Not just numbers. A species that crossed the Equator, paid for the mismatch in skin and blood, and then handed a correctly timed body to its young. Nature is stubborn. It is also faster than we give it credit for. #ProjectCheetah #KunoNationalPark #CheetahsOfIndia #WildlifeIndia #Conservation
India's Cheetah population has grown to 52! More amazingly, 32 of them were BORN IN INDIA! The Cheetah Story has been an incredible success. Remember how Naaraz Fufas declared that the experiment will fail before it had even begun?

Manish @msisodia, @SauravDassss - enough of the presentations and publicity. I challenge you to visit Punjab’s government schools and colleges with me. No handpicked institutions, no staged visits-just the ground reality. @AamAadmiParty has not built even a single new government school or college in Punjab. The education infrastructure and achievements you showcase were built through the efforts of previous governments, including @INCPunjab. Punjab topped the country in NAS 2021 and PGI. If AAP’s “Delhi education model” is so successful, why isn’t Delhi No. 1 under an @ArvindKejriwal govt? After being cornered on the Drug crisis, this propaganda cannot hide the authoritarianism in Punjab. Come with me. Accept the challenge. @INCIndia @SachinPilot
