Extremely exciting. Had a tour a week or so ago, the artisan and painstaking heritage restoration work by local skilled craftspeople is INCREDIBLE.
A real gift to the city and development done well 👏
The Jenners Building will shine once again this winter as external scaffolding is removed, revealing the extent of a major restoration project.

"They killed us." With these words Novaya Gazeta, Russia's most famous independent newspaper, announced it is closing. Six of its people were murdered under Putin.
🧵Here is what Russia is losing. [1/12]
Gentleman with a Trumpet
He played today at his usual spot near the Golden Gate in Kyiv.
Something about him made my heart ache.
He has been playing in all kinds of weather during these long years of war.
If you ask me what the symbol of resistance is to me, I’ll answer: Gentleman with a Trumpet.
Russia was never in any danger of being invaded. All of those russian soldiers aren't dying to protect their country, they're dying for their country's right to invade and control other countries. They're dying for nothing.
The incessant political lobbying from fossil fuel giants has shattered the climate consensus and undermined the move towards net zero. They've even tried to convince us that new drilling is 'good' for the environment. I wonder what's been behind it........

Lessons from the creation of Police Scotland. “Too often, public-sector reform is judged by what it saves, how it reorganises and how efficiently it claims to operate, rather than by whether the public gets a better service.” heraldscotland.com/politics/…
Lula "We cannot have monstrously huge corporations earning millions & billions, paying no taxes to this country & trying to steer this country's election results."
So many countries have this problem and need to slay this beast.

Do not let the passing days make us forget Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, the physician who continued fulfilling his humanitarian duty in Gaza amid war and danger, refusing to abandon his patients despite the pain and threats surrounding him.
Hussam Abu Safiya is not just a name that appeared in the news. He is the story of a doctor who chose to stand by his people when staying meant risking his life.
Do not forget him. Do not let his case fade into silence. Keep demanding his freedom. Behind this name is a human being who deserves to remain in our conscience until the day he is free.
