Last week, Cotool teamed up with @ycombinator to host security leaders from @WeAreLegora , @HelloSurgeAI , and @material_sec to talk about building a security org from 0 to 1 in hyper-growth environments. Much of the conversation was around how to get the most leverage out of a lean (or non-existent!) team: starting where you already have buy-in, hiring builders over operators, and using AI agents to take on the noise humans used to spend time triaging. Special thanks to our fantastic panelists @aluveaux, @ffwang2, Rajan Kapoor, and @maxpollard415. And a huge shoutout to @koomen and team for the beautiful space and making the event happen in the first place!

Greptile is going to be a massive company.
Greptile has raised a $50M Series B led by Menlo Ventures. The round values the company at $750M. Greptile reviews and tests more than 1% of all PRs opened on GitHub every day. Thousands of engineering teams including Nvidia, Coinbase, Decagon, and Vanta use Greptile as their independent and central validation layer. Fewer than 50 people, we are a small, talent-dense team of engineers and researchers in a quiet corner of San Francisco. If you’re interested in joining us, we’d love to hear from you.

Sooo incredible. I feel like we’re reliving the early Internet all over again. But juiced 10000x
37,2. Via: tiktok.com/@Ansenjeo

How is @Spotify still this bad at classical music track names? They could spend $100 in inference to fix their entire catalog.

Leftism consistently produces poverty, misery, and oppression because it imposes a zero-sum frame in which individual success or advancement must necessarily be at others expense

Rainbrand turns your brand into code and puts it in a repo so that your agents can create websites, decks, and videos that look and feel exactly the way you want them to. Ray is betting that marketing teams will soon need their own devtools. I think he's right.
Introducing Rainbrand, the brand layer for agents. ⇢ ingest brand context from anywhere ⇢ turn it into a machine-readable brand system ⇢ use it across agents and products We’re building brand infrastructure for a world of agents.

The ideal outcome for science isn't a couple of labs using proprietary models and millions of dollars to crack trophy problems, it's to have millions of AI-aided human scientists who follow their curiosity and become way more ambitious

String theory is what happens when an intelligent system is starved of sensory input and starts hallucinating. Intelligence needs grounding. For this reason, intelligence is practically never the bottleneck to solving impactful problems. The bottleneck is iterated contact with reality.

Huge day for us today: @resend is now billing through Autumn This is a full circle moment. @johnyeo_ using the Resend API is actually what inspired us to build a devtool in the first place. They set the standard for product quality and user experience. They moved to @autumnpricing because they needed a single, reliable engine to monetize all the new products they ship, and their growing enterprise motion meant a lot more custom contracts to manage. Resend is the most downloaded email API in the world and growing like crazy. We’re super proud they chose us to meter, enforce and bill their highest-volume workloads.

Introducing DeepRSI, a new industry standard for measuring recursive self-improvement. On preexisting benchmarks, tasks are contributor-based and short-horizon (~12 hrs). In DeepRSI, we push agents to work 48 hours on ML tasks actually derived from ongoing proprietary research.

Some people are dunking on this, but IMHO THIS is the way that science publications should be done. Post-publication corrections and modifications should be THE norm, not an exception. Software developers had it right all along. We need to stop treating research publications as settled scriptures.
We've updated our GitHub math repo with 6 new Lean formalizations, 19 modifications, and 3 withdrawals. The repo now has ~42% top-line results formalized. We will continue to update the repo with new formalizations and with any errata we notice. github.com/openai/math/blob/…

I hope the next big lab math drop is just a PR on this repo.

Amazon banning agents is the first opportunity I've seen since Amazon was founded for a startup to create an Amazon competitor. People will want agents to buy stuff for them. It will be one of the main use cases. And they won't want to use some Amazon-supplied agent to do it.
