Same dog bed. Made in Europe vs made in China. We're asking Chinese suppliers to quote our exact spec: same fabric pattern, at least 30,000 Martindale rubs, same stitching, same size. We're not moving anything. We just want real numbers. Two questions: 1. How big is the price gap really? 2. Can they match our quality, or even beat it? If you've made a physical product in both places, what surprised you more, the price or the quality?

shipping lesson from selling dog beds across the EU: read the courier packing rules before the first parcel, not after. i taped two boxes together into one parcel to Lithuania. DPD counts that as an atypical parcel, so 453 Kc shipping came with a 990 Kc extra fee.

I quit corporate because neither for me worked. I think bellow advice will live forever. 👇
My best career advice: At every job you should either learn or earn. Either is fine. Both is best. But if it's neither, quit.

Juggling 10 AI agents isn't leverage. It's just a new way to be the bottleneck.

I run Pawloor, a small Czech dog-bed brand. This week I designed our first bed with bolsters and Opus 5.5 did the geometry with me. Here's what we built 🧵

And a layer-by-layer animation of our flagship bed: memory foam on HR foam, an inner cover with hollow-fibre tunnels, the top cover. The bolster version has no fibre under the sides, so they sit firm.

It caught things I'd have missed: the left and right arms are mirror images, not two copies of one part. Last step: a one-page drawing in Czech for our foam supplier. Samples next.
