Tech gave me everything I have Its capacity to lift people into abundance is incredible and there is nothing like it We must make that into prosperity for everyone
"I realized tech is this thing that can bring people out of whatever situation they're in and often into prosperity. And that's what I want for everyone." @ycombinator’s @garrytan tells @emilychangtv how tech changed his family's life. Watch here: trib.al/sxg1VGR

Asset seizure tax destroying California You can bet they will keep trying to do it because it’s all the same goal: eat the Golden Goose Better off just enjoying unlimited golden eggs but no, gotta eat that goose
California's Billionaire Tax Act would collect roughly $30 billion. Accounting for lost income taxes from departures, the mean Net Present Value is negative $39 billion, from Benjamin Jaros and Joshua Rauh nber.org/papers/w35899

Would a family today make the move here for their kids when only 1 in 4 California 8th graders is proficient in math? People come to California for the jobs. We lose them if they can't educate their kids here. Fix the public schools.

Congrats to @dakshgup, @soohoonchoi, @vaishaaant and @greptile (W24) on their $50M Series B! Greptile reviews and tests more than 1% of all pull requests opened on GitHub every day. With fewer than 50 people, Greptile serves thousands of engineering teams, including those at Nvidia, Coinbase, Decagon, and Vanta. These teams rely on Greptile as an independent validation layer, no matter which coding agent wrote the code. greptile.com/blog/series-b

Multiplayer agents as group chat seems quite inevitable and Wabi's built it
Wabi 2.0 is live! personal agents are one person, one chat. but the parts of life that matter run on more than one person Wabi is an agent you use together. you talk to it, it does stuff, builds the apps you need, and anyone can join the thread - your partner, your best friend, the preschool moms groupchat school changes pickup time → Wabi updates the family calendar, everyone sees it. a show you’d both love → Wabi finds a night that works, gets the tickets. the trip everyone keeps talking about → Wabi picks the dates, builds the itinerary, books it go start a thread with your people 👇

The velocity of code changes for engineers this year has 10x’d, quickly moving the bottleneck to code review and testing. Greptile solves this for the most technically challenging codebases like Nvidia (core CUDA code is reviewed on Greptile), Coinbase, Datadog, OpenClaw and 22,000 more customers. Many people think the model layer will eat code validation, but I don’t think it will. Code review within organizations is a more context-bound task than an intelligence-bound. The most intelligent AI can be wrong because it breaks an assumption in one API endpoint another service relies on. Large codebases can quickly accumulate a lot of technical debt your coding harness won’t reliably remember every time. Greptile does. Instead of having a frontier model harness review your code which can quickly cost $20+/review, Greptile does a much better job for much cheaper, leveraging the smartest models when needed but the GLM/Kimi/DeepSeeks when needed to. And it also runs, tests and takes a video of what your change did. Over time, organizations treat a 5/5 rated change by Greptile as a guarantee this won’t break anything in prod. And it shows. Their growth has been off the charts. Incredibly fortunate to partner with this a company. Fun fact: Elon once posted Greptile's growth graph with "it's so over" pointing to 2024 to show AI's acceleration.
Greptile has raised a $50M Series B led by Menlo Ventures. The round values the company at $750M. Greptile reviews and tests more than 1% of all PRs opened on GitHub every day. Thousands of engineering teams including Nvidia, Coinbase, Decagon, and Vanta use Greptile as their independent and central validation layer. Fewer than 50 people, we are a small, talent-dense team of engineers and researchers in a quiet corner of San Francisco. If you’re interested in joining us, we’d love to hear from you.

This is bullshit, Kenney. I’m the same tech tree following optimist who moved from C to C++, from 2D to 3D, and from closed source to open source. I run a company. I write code. I contribute to published papers. I’ve upped my expectations of AI. Up yours!

If you can use models to reverse engineer anything and use models to swarm and find vulnerabilities, we are not ready for what's going to happen over the next 12 months. We've now have the autonomous black hat hacker. Tremendous crisis right in front of us.
One thing to consider is that the best hacks on American companies will go down very quietly. A great hacker is unseen. So you should presume that attacks on American companies that are noticed, are a small portion of what’s happening out there. Most hacks are just silent and steadily waiting to accumulate more valuable information on an on going basis.

notice.. > Delta is blocking AI agents from booking flights > JPMorgan Chase and Charles Schwab block agents from accessing accounts > Yelp requires paid data licensing for agents > Amazon has blocked Grok bot and other shopping agents. the internet is starting to block AI agents that were supposed to do everything for us

Making a game is so much fun. I made this while working on my “real” job! I just have an extra chat open with Claude and Codex running in the background with the Summer MCP and the Summer Engine running headless. While waiting for my main “work agents” to reply, I make a game instead of doomscrolling etc. I just switch over to another chat that is working on my game, and send another prompt. It’s so smooth. And you can build full native games with multiplayer, and you can even publish the game hands free through the Summer MCP. So much fun! This is a magic hero shooter inspired by Marvel Rivals and the game design from League of Legends Arena matches. It works ok windows, mac, ios, and android. With full crossplay - with servers in USA and EU (coming to Asia as well). This was built in less than 1 week. Will showcase more game play soon ☀️ Fun!
