15 years and 15 milestones thread on the birthday of Litecoin's public launch!
🎂 Happy Birthday to Litecoin! 🎂
"15 Years of Litecoin & 15 Milestones" 🧵
Since Litecoin launched on 13 October 2011, Coinmarketcap has estimated more than 60 million cryptocurrencies have appeared. Among former ‘Top 100’ projects, Cryptorank’s research shows only 71.9% still exist, and even fewer remain active. Well, Litecoin hasn’t left the leaderboard since launch. Ever. While market cap is one way to measure Litecoin’s success, there’s so much more to the project’s 15 years of existence. And this piece is celebrating 15 milestones that’ve had a profound impact on the space, the project, and Litecoin’s users.
Happy 15 Years, Litecoin. Here’s to many more! Enjoy the 🧵 👇

Me rn:
Something is happening with LTC ...
The performance of Canary's spot @litecoin ETF has shocked the industry since mid-September.
Until then, inflows to the product had been sporadic at best. Now, the ETF seems to be taking on a whole new life.
Demand from investors has been strong, the product seeing 7 inflow days in the past month. In the month prior, there were only 2-3.
The @LTCFoundation is cooking.

The road was only ever the beginning🚀
@deloreanmotorco holds a singular place in automotive culture. For more than four decades the name has stood for bold design, independence and a stubborn fascination with what comes next.
For most of that time, the world has pictured a DeLorean leaving the road behind.
@airspeederHQ was founded on an equally direct idea: that electric flying cars should be developed the way the automobile was, through the pressure, scrutiny and spectacle of racing.
People have pictured a DeLorean in the sky for forty years and now it is becoming reality.
