This week at the UK Global Health Summit, we had the opportunity to hear from @iamwinny_ , ONE UK Youth Ambassador, on why young people are essential to shaping the future of global health.
In her words:
"Young people in global health have a lot of energy and urgency. They are not waiting to be invited to the table. They are literally creating the tables themselves."
We're delighted to feature Winifred's blog on our website, reflecting on the vital role of diaspora health workers and the power of collaboration in building stronger, more equitable health systems.

Day 2️⃣ of the UK Global Health Summit has just seen a fascinating and wide-ranging session: Harnessing Diaspora Engagement.
Drawing on recent research and lived experience, this session explored how diaspora communities are contributing to health system resilience in fragile and conflict affected settings.
The panel, moderated by Israa Mohammed, Chair of Global Health Partnerships Cymru, also reflected on their personal experiences and the service delivery benefits of diaspora engagement in the UK and other contexts.
Taking part was @iamwinny_ who has written this guest blog for us about her own experiences of youth diaspora engagement, and leadership.

A big thanks to all our panellists and attendees at yesterday's webinar - focusing on implications of the latest State of the World's Nursing Report.
In case you missed it - the recording will soon be added to our #FNFMember and #FNFAlumni portals.
