LEADERSHIP THOUGHT OF THE DAY A LEADER WHO DOES NOT CONFRONT PROBLEMS IS QUIETLY GIVING THEM PERMISSION TO GROW. Leadership is not measured by how many problems you identify, but by how many you confront, resolve, and prevent from recurring. In every organisation, warning signs appear long before failure becomes visible. Performance begins to decline. Standards slip. People become comfortable with mediocrity. Responsibilities are neglected, and excuses gradually replace accountability. The real test of leadership is what you do when you see these warning signs. Do you act, or do you look away? Do you demand evidence, or do you accept explanations? Do you hold people accountable, or do you allow poor performance to become the culture? Effective leaders do not wait for a crisis before taking action. They monitor progress, ask difficult questions, provide support, enforce standards, and follow through until results improve. In education, this means that a school leader does not simply accept poor learner performance as a statistic. The leader investigates the causes, challenges the systems that are failing, empowers teachers, tracks interventions, and ensures that every struggling learner receives the necessary support. Remember: What leaders tolerate eventually becomes the standard. What they consistently monitor and improve becomes the culture. YOUR LEADERSHIP CHALLENGE TODAY Identify one problem you have allowed to persist for too long. Take decisive action, assign responsibility, set a deadline, and establish how you will measure improvement. Do not merely manage the problem. Lead the change required to eliminate it. Leadership is not about avoiding uncomfortable conversations. It is about having the courage to protect standards, develop people, and deliver results. At Rush Educational Consultancy, we believe that effective leadership turns accountability into action and action into measurable improvement. Rush Educational Consultancy — Developing Leaders. Strengthening Schools. Delivering Results. #Leadership #EducationalLeadership #Accountability #SchoolImprovement #PerformanceManagement #RushEducationalConsultancy

I love how we're underrating Arsenal ahead of every big game. 😹🤌 Let's put sentiment aside. The fact that Arsenal took this PSG side all the way to a penalty shootout in last season's UCL final isn't talked about enough. 😭😹 And here we are again, underrating them against Bayern Munich. 😭😹 Bayern can never beat this Arsenal team. NEVER. 🤌😹🔥

Dear @MinistryofTID here is a recent video recorded by a tourist driving along this route highlights the alarming condition of the road surface. For many visitors travelling into Zimbabwe from across Southern Africa, this highway is their very first impression of our nation. Currently, the state of this critical artery is giving Zimbabwe a bad image and actively harming our tourism potential. As citizens, we look up to our government to maintain the fundamental infrastructure that keeps our country moving forward. Victoria Falls is our flagship tourist destination, and we are striving to attract higher volumes of regional and international visitors. However, we cannot expect tourism to thrive when key access routes remain in such a state of severe disrepair. These roads cannot be left unattended any longer. Urgent intervention and rehabilitation are needed not only to protect the safety of travellers and transport operators, but to project the pride, standard, and hospitality that Zimbabwe stands for. We urge the Ministry to prioritize the immediate repair and long-term upgrading of the Bulawayo–Victoria Falls Road.

This is a gross failure of political leadership As local MPs we have consistently raised our voices appealing to the government to take urgent action Unfortunately our loud pleas for many years now have fallen on deaf ears This road must be declared a national disaster

THE NATURE OF STRUGGLES…I know that, at times, frustration gets the better of us, and we lose sight of what we are up against. Because we desperately want to free ourselves from this hardship and dictatorship, we end up being too hard on ourselves, often unfairly. We try. Sometimes we fall short. Sometimes we get it wrong. But that is the nature of a struggle against oppression. It is never easy, never straightforward, and never without setbacks. Keep trying. Keep pushing. Keep believing. One day, we will make it. Such is the story of every struggle for freedom. There are setbacks, frustrations, disappointments and moments when we question ourselves. But we must never lose sight of what we are up against or why we began. We try, we stumble, we learn, and we rise again. The struggle is never easy, but we must keep going. The road may be long, but we must never give up on the destination. Our freedom is worth the fight and the sacrifice. #FreshStart #Godisinit

What is the state of the Bulawayo–Victoria Falls Highway? Damaged sections raise concerns about road safety and rehabilitation progress. VicFallsLive has sent questions to @zinaraZW and is awaiting a response on the progress of works and plans to address the damaged sections.

Good idea
Replying to @SiphoMalunga
Generalissimo Malunga you could also look into Sydney Malunga award for civic, democratic and social and political advocacy. Where you target community organizer, civil activist and political activists. Who are doing tremendous and selfless work in their communities,

Violence is never sustained by one person alone. It is often reinforced by silence, denial and the belief that it is someone else’s problem. We all have a part to play in ending violence against all women and girls.  #endgbv
