amazing things being done with rea on the timeline
I used Reverse Engineer Anything to re-create raycast on @omarchy. And I was blown away! In just a couple hours I have a fully-functioning raycast-like launcher! Right now it:
* Learns your habits
* Apps + every Omarchy action in one search
* Aliases & favorites
* Keyboard-first
* Follows your Omarchy theme live, opens in ~40ms

met some really cool community members like @Akhnatouch @ForcelineHD & had great discussions on creating, reverse engineering and even ai research

we're going to make rea a lot more robust in the upcoming v6.8 update
ive been reading the posts + watching youtube videos @tonbistudio
there will be a big focus on making it more comfortable for agents to use + adjustable so they can directly recover without human input

半年前我辞职，是因为看到了软件时代落幕的可能性。
当时乐观预期，软件工程还能存在大约一年，操作系统这样的综合软件还能坚持两年。
现在看来，这最后的两年，是要撑不住了。操作系统，数字版权，活不过 2026 年冬天。
我们看到了 iOS 这个强大的操作系统，在任意硬件上跑得飞快，虚拟机也被端了出来。达尔文在华为上正确工作，核心加密 FairPlay 距离彻底解密也不会超过一个月。PS5 和 Switch 的游戏，在 iOS/macOS 上面繁荣发展。尼康、哈苏的固件，也被添加自制的功能。
这里面，有我和我朋友们的功劳。
这个世界真的还能用软件留住秘密吗？
在过去的两个月内，日本的互联网企业每天都有大量数据库被泄漏。不仅是日本，TIBD 的生产数据和 Zeabur 的服务器，都赤裸裸的出现在公众面前。
如果说软件无法保护秘密，那这个世界还剩下什么呢？

It works! @bot added my B-hyve XD HT31 Bluetooth watering system to Apple HomeKit using @brutella ‘s hap.
I showed it @morluto ‘s rea, it reversed the official Orbit app, wrote a key requester using my account details and the official API, and now happily runs the Go app on my Raspberry Pi.

'There are always flowers for those who want to see them'
AI doesn't replace you. It amplifies you.
Over lunch, I discussed with my professor: know the fundamentals and where you're going, and AI multiplies you. If not, it makes you dependent.
So what matters most now is agency.
I don't think I'm smart. I’m just willing to spend the time and turn ideas into things. This week that meant using REA to take apart GuitarTuna and learn what's under the hood. More on what I built soon. 🎸
Best time ever to learn by building.
Agency is all u need.

I don't think people realize the movement happening with "Reverse Engineer Anything," which just crossed 300k GitHub stars. It's not about "oh, let's make an open source Photoshop" or "the death of software." It's about unlocking human creativity. It's about what this UNBLOCKS in our brains, what new building blocks we have, and the big question: WHAT WILL YOU BUILD?! cc @reatools @morluto
