Udara Jay (@TGUPJ) is a designer, engineer, explorer, and the founder of UNMS. In this conversation, Udara walks us through New Dawn Protocol, a globe-scale civilization sandbox game about rebuilding shared systems and living with what they make possible. What once took a triple-A studio, Udara is now building on his own. The game opens onto a larger question: what does this technology make possible, and what is it changing that we can’t see? The GPU was built to draw games and now runs AI. A phone sets a photo’s exposure without asking, and without our noticing that a decision was made at all. Agents will soon make choices for us the same way. Udara argues that most people experience AI only through their social feeds or a narrow slice of the world as it currently is, and that even the people building it can’t see where it’s going. internetVin and Udara push the question as far as it goes: what do people become once machines run the systems we built, and why learn anything once knowing is no longer an advantage? The Other Stuff is hosted by internetVin, a filmmaker, entrepreneur, and possibly the most curious man on Earth. Clement Leung makes food videos as insta.noodls. He is an investigator and storyteller whose focus is uncovering dishes and cuisines worth trying. We started by cooking Shin Ramyun on the table, and he showed us his hack: crack two eggs into the leftover broth and microwave it. Clement walked us through how he started documenting food and why. Then we talked about Toronto, which Clement thinks might be the best food city in the world because it's the most diverse. We got into the economics of running a restaurant, how competitive it is to start one, and the food court stalls of Markham. Clement also reflected on the journey of documenting food, shared the stories he's picked up from getting closer with restaurant owners through his work, and told us what helping Mark Wiens taught him about what makes something legendary. The Other Stuff is hosted by internetVin, filmmaker and entrepreneur and possibly the most curious man on Earth. Produced by New. A clip from New Stadium in Toronto, an event where individuals were sharing their thoughts on meaningful vintage electronics and tools. When early MP3 players only held about 32 megabytes, Nate Chiu (@original_nc88) needed a way to listen to long electronic music sets, his solution was a Sony NetMD MiniDisc Player. "This enabled me to consume the content that I wanted to consume at the time and at a format and quality that I wanted to blast my ears with."
