Ultraviolette Automotive (@UltravioletteEV) is set to establish its BIGGA Factory at State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu Limited (@SIPCOTTN ), Shoolagiri, further strengthening Tamil Nadu’s fast-growing EV and advanced mobility ecosystem.
Designed around Industry 4.0 manufacturing, the facility will scale to 2.5 lakh vehicles annually, with infrastructure planned to expand to 5 lakh units.
The announcement builds on the MoU exchanged at the VETTRI Tamil Nadu Investment Conclave 2026, in the presence of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru. C. Joseph Vijay, for Ultraviolette’s high-performance electric mobility manufacturing presence in Krishnagiri.
From high-performance EVs to manufacturing at scale, Tamil Nadu is powering the future of electric mobility.

Visited the Ultraviolette facility in Jigani, which produces world-class F77 electric two-wheelers. These motorcycles are celebrated for their quality manufacturing, cutting-edge technical expertise, and superior mileage. Today, I proudly kick-started the export process for these electric motorcycles to European markets.
There was a time when we depended on imports for electric two-wheelers. Now, thanks to the visionary #MakeinIndiafortheworld initiative, the Ultraviolette company near Bengaluru is not only manufacturing these high-quality vehicles domestically but has also advanced to the stage of exporting them internationally—a true testament to India’s growing manufacturing prowess.
Will extend all support and cooperation to foster the growth and global success of #Ultraviolette, a company led by pioneering and entrepreneurial Kannadigas.
