Space design is a key element of our upcoming OCCUPY series.
We asked ourselves: what can we offer to artists that sparks creativity?
Our answer comes as three unique screen layouts: a floating cube, an immersive room, and two LED pools.
We can't wait to see what you create.
Make room for mistakes
NODE co-founder @mickymalka and former MoMA director Glenn Lowry on curiosity, creative trust and building a space where artists can surprise us.
Full conversation coming soon.
NODE Studio NYC is thrilled to welcome @LoroMasnah
We built the Studio for artists to explore questions.
In that spirit, Masnah has joined us to develop “This is Not a CryptoPunk,” a new work bringing @cryptopunks to our community in SoHo.
Masnah joined us while the Studio was still taking shape, bringing his archives and materials into new experiments with our team.
Thank you, @LoroMasnah, for helping shape what this space can become.
We look forward to sharing what comes next.
An idea at the start of a call.
A working prototype by the end.
Erick “Snowfro” Calderon (@ArtOnBlockchain) of @artblocks_io on how new tools are opening up his practice, and why spaces like NODE Studio NYC matter more in an increasingly digital world.
Full talk coming soon.
Big ideas need room to play.
NODE Studio NYC: 4,500 square feet in SoHo for artists to experiment, follow their curiosity, and discover what’s possible.
A place for ideas to begin. A path to something bigger.
At our NYC opening, Amanda Schmitt (@ASAcurates) and Nicole Sales Giles (@nicoleasales) explored what happens when an idea is shared and what it takes for an artist to find their audience.
Thank you both for joining us.
