Not probably, he is. And I'm not sure how big of a difference there is in overall talent between him and Rice, either
Josh Downs is so very interesting. He’s *probably* better than any non-Rice WR in KC but wins in the same area of the field. Does it differently but similar area. It’s easy to point to the M2M str, it exists, but minimal vertical presence, on LoS versatility, & catch point str

This is at least the 3rd time in the last month that Andy Reid has snapped at reporters for asking extremely basic questions, this time about why they signed a sexual assault perpetrator. Disappointed doesn't even begin to describe it. This team is a mess.
#Chiefs HC Andy Reid faced five straight minutes of questions about Justin Tucker today, including what message his signing sends to female fans of the team. "He's done his suspension. Took care of his business there. I'll leave it at that." Full back-and-forth exchange below:

This Justin Tucker signing is beyond embarrassing for the Chiefs. I realize NFL teams are in the business of winning and not moral grandstanding, and do believe in second chances generally, but dear god you have to draw the line somewhere. He’s the Deshaun Watson of kickers.

An overlooked component of this play is the Seahawks simply playing it better than the Chiefs had faced this year. Pat's plan A and B on the reverse-out are rolling out or flipping his hips and stepping up. But the DE doesn't bite, so neither is available.
It wasn't just the system and/or players around Mahomes Sunday. His pocket movement got away from him at times, and it cost him big. Here the concept wins down the field and with Kelce, but he runs himself into pressure instead of keeping his movements small.

So many of the doomed plays from Sunday were just Andy perplexingly calling the longest developing plays possible.

And even then, you'd almost forgive it if any of the routes on the long plays actually tried to stretch the field - but alas.

What crime did they make him commit before he could join the active roster?
The Chiefs designated Omarr Norman-Lott to return to practice today, a source told The Star.

The Chiefs really want Brian Thomas Jr. Their only setback is that he has never committed a major crime.
#Chiefs are targeting Jaguars WR Brian Thomas Jr., per sources. Jacksonville wants a 1st-round pick in exchange. The 2024 1st-round pick offers an attractive target profile and an easily manageable rookie deal with multiple years of team control remaining. Sources add Kansas City is keeping tabs on #Jets WR Garrett Wilson as well, along with potential pass-rush help. #ChiefsKingdom #NFL #NFLTradeDeadline

This looks incredibly unfunny for a show made by such talented people

The best part of this is that even of you break the word down to "per" and "cent", and think it refers to actual cents, it would *still* be obvious that it's out of 100, because that's what cents are. Dude just hears random syllables while cymbals bang together in his brain.

My hot take is that spending a lot of resources for extremely poor results is bad, actually
Replying to @AttentiveDad
Ppl act like the Chiefs have spent no resources on trying to improve the offense.
