Introducing Plannotator Inbox. Making decisions is the new bottleneck, while your agents work on many things across many threads over longer periods of time. Inbox is how you stay in-the-loop, organized, alongside the agent harnesses you already prefer to use. Try today, free, local, open source.

Ask AI direct to your session while you code review
3
660
Plannotator 0.28.0 is being released. Bi-directional async communication while you: annotate docs, html artifacts, code review. You can now Ask AI direct to your session. Supported in: Claude Code, Pi, OpenCode. Codex support will land when MCP Events are fully baked out. Previously this wasn't supported and others would have to hack CLI polling based solutions - but I've been fairly strict on the type of UX I'm willing to hack versus not. The better UX is now available, so we're releasing it. The previous version of AskAI is being phased out. Claude Code's plugin is now 100% a mod. Similar to Pi and OpenCode.
You can now mod Claude Code: - Change how it behaves - Customize the UI - Swap in your own features Write one with a few lines of TypeScript, or have Claude build it for you. Mods ship inside plugins, so you install them with /plugin in the CLI or desktop app. A few examples:

The latest Plannotator is out. A few updates while we gear up for something bigger (while also in the middle of a move across the country so bear with me): - Question UI: have your agent use the /plannotator skill, and its questions show up as interactive cards - Bitbucket Cloud support for Code Review and Guided Review, requested by several teams - Before/after previews for images in code review

I've not used plan mode in a long, long time. You don't need a mode to iterate in software design phases; just chat. Still... how we shape, align on, and review work has plenty of room for innovation. next week.
we’re thinking of killing plan mode and using the shift+tab hotkey to adjust effort levels I don’t think the models need plan mode anymore, but if you’re a plan mode diehard would love to get your feedback on why

I wouldnt say that, but this does provide a quicker convenience. Let me know how I can improve the ergonomics. I just updated it so you could copy and clear out all your annotations (shift+c). Seems to work well in OpenCode.

`/plannotator-last` on a grill-me session - opens the last agent message, ie a question batch, and makes it simple to markup and respond with preferred answers
The next version of Matt Pocock's skills introduce batch grilling... you're going to want a good review surface for those: `/plannotator-last`

Shipping now - make 'edits' as suggested changes and direct code annotations. Cool features enabled by pierre! This will start as an experimental feature flag & we probably won't support actual file editing ... a lot of nuance vs using a proper editor. Please provide feedback or ideas though!
Edit is now live on diffs[dot]com. This isn't just another Monaco or ProseMirror wrapper. This is an entirely new edit implementation, built on top of our file and diff rendering primitives. - Over 189 commits - Over 900 new tests Try it out now – diffs.com/edit
