And when the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord, and as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed. Acts 13:48

The 1st printed Irish New Testament appeared in 1602, translated by Protestant scholar William Daniel (Uilliam Ó Domhnaill). The Irish OT followed in 1685, through a translation project involving Irish scholars and Protestant clergy. Fascinating part of our Reformation history.

and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their evil ways, then I will listen from heaven, I will forgive their sin, and I will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Chemical abortion pills are being mailed to women with no medical oversight, no follow-up care, and no accountability. Calling that “health care” doesn’t make it health care. Women deserve better.

I’m reading Genesis, again. A couple of things I’ve been pondering this morning: Eve sinned prior to eating the fruit when she said and added “neither shall you touch it” She didn’t know she was deceived until after she ate

We are in debt to the lost! Imagine discovering that you possessed the cure for a disease that was killing millions of people. Would you keep it to yourself while people all around you suffered and died? Of course not! You would tell everyone you could. Christian, we have something infinitely more important than a cure for cancer. We have the gospel of Jesus Christ! Sin is the greatest disease known to mankind. It has infected every human being, separated us from a holy God, and left us under the sentence of death. And its consequences extend far beyond the grave. But we know the cure! Jesus Christ died for sinners, was buried, and rose again. Through Him, sinners can be forgiven, reconciled to God, and delivered from the penalty of sin. Paul said in Romans 1:14, “I am under obligation both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to the wise and to the foolish.” He understood that he had been entrusted with a message the world desperately needed to hear. Christian, if we truly believe that sin is killing people and Jesus Christ is the only remedy, how can we possibly remain silent? People are perishing. We have the gospel. Tell someone, anyone about Jesus!

“Not only does Jesus prove himself to be the true obedient Son who will fulfill all righteousness, but Jesus establishes the means with which the people of God are to oppose Satan and his minions. Jesus does not summon the power of deity nor call upon the hosts of heaven to destroy Satan. Rather, Jesus opposes Satan with God's Word, the same weapon the saints must use in their struggle with Antichrist.” Riddlebarger- The Man of Sin, Ch 3 pg 63

Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. — Philippians 2:5-8
