לא זוכר אם זה עוון או פשע
כרגע אמרו לי שאני מעוכב באשמת מסיק זיתים. בדרך לתחנת משטרה. יצאתי יחד עם כמה עשרות ישראלים מטעם קול רבני לזכויות האדם והצטרפו גם כמה עשרות רבנים מארה״ב. אחרי כשעתיים וחצי עבודה הגיעו כוחות גדולים של משטרה, מג״ב וצבא. התבקשנו להפסיק וכולם נשמעו. לא היה חיכוך כלשהו עם מתנחלים או עם כוחות הביטחון. האמריקנים הועלו לאוטובוס אחד, והישראלים למיניבוסים.
הזיה מוחלטת.

The State’s response to the claim that E1 would require the transfer of hundreds of people:
"The lifestyle of a Bedouin population—spread out over vast areas for nomadic purposes and sheep grazing, and lacking legal regulation under planning and building laws as well as land ownership laws—cannot act as a barrier to planning."
No 18th- or 19th-century colonialist could have phrased it better.
