whelp, half a month later we got our answer from @edpwatch_ after following up three separate times. Keep in mind, this guy was very willing to do this with me when we initially talked, and even invited me to do a predator catch with him 'the next time he was in New York'. Weird how after he tells me he isn't willing to talk to me unless I don't mention anything about Kayla [which I agreed to] he reschedules then ices me before finally saying no. Guess I'm gonna have to show my findings in video form, which will come soon! I already had a three and half hour call with Jidion privately, and I have found quite a lot of stuff that hasn't been addressed and would've been beneficial for him to respond to directly. I wanted to give him that chance, but I guess he wasn't willing to have that conversation with me for whatever reason. New video VERY soon!

After firing him from their cast for past racist jokes, then inviting him back as a host three times, it looks like after Shane Gillis’ recent opening monologue where he compared women wearing exercise clothing to “whores,” SNL has finally learned their lesson: The beloved sketch show has announced Shane Gillis is only welcome to host another five to six times, tops. Boom. Sorry Shane, but it looks like misogyny has no place on the hallowed SNL stage. In a post to their official Facebook page, the show announced, “We are aware of the public reaction to guest host Shane Gillis’ recent opening monologue. SNL has made the difficult decision to ban Shane Gillis from hosting our show any more than five, six more times, tops. While we believe that everyone deserves an eighth or ninth chance, and there are basically no other funny comedians, actors, or musicians we can think of to host our show, Shane’s comments crossed a line that SNL will only let him cross around a dozen times total.” Reactions in the post’s comments were mixed, with some saying that the punishment wasn’t harsh enough and that SNL should only welcome him back to host two to three times, whereas some were saying it was too harsh and they should make him a permanent cast member again but just not let him do as much sexist/racist stuff. Damn. If SNL went this far, you know they were NOT happy about Shane’s “whores” joke. Hats off to SNL for standing up for women like this!

You’re right, it isn’t the punchline. the punchline was shane making fun of the behavior and jokin abt looking like a creep. the entire point is that he invalidates his own point by joking he’s in 10 of the gym tiktok’s looking like this absolute monster lol, it’s a through line between the hiking story and the gym, and transitions into why the sauna story happened. acting like his small tangent about women in the gym is some kind of advocation of misogyny, rape culture, whatever tf is a horrible misread from the type of people who constantly brag about being so media literate and intelligent. did the people literally saying shane’s comments are the reason men rape even watch this? it genuinely confuses me
