I'm constantly finding blank open browser windows, and apps I don't recall opening, but then remember that between Playwright and Computer Vision, it's probably just stuff that my agents didn't bother to close

I've been managing Awesome Copilot for ~18 months now and I'm still bemused at some of the "services" people are creating and submitted. Today I had a submission to proxy your bank accounts to AI. That's like the last thing I want. If I want my bank in there I don't want a proxy

What becomes more frightening is when you dig into the submissions and you see how many other lists these things are appearing on...

As traffic grew exponentially, we moved 99.99999% of GitHub's Git repos to Azure. A new write path moves the last, busiest repos, keeps cross-region round trips from capping throughput, and enables stateless Azure Blob Storage replicas.

The busiest single repo on GitHub saw roughly a billion requests in ONE MONTH. Today, we shared how we’re rebuilding GitHub’s storage layer (without changing how you use GitHub) decoupling compute & storage so reads and writes scale independently. Quicker pushes, pulls, and a platform that stays fast as more agents and developers code. We’re designing against some of the largest workloads on the platform so there’s headroom for everyone. More below on how this works and excited to show you more at @GitHub Universe. 👇
Git activity more than doubled between September 2025 and August 2026, reaching 473.3B events per month. We’re rebuilding our Git infrastructure while GitHub keeps running, creating a foundation for agent-scale software development.
