Day 18/60 🔐
Today, I learned how routers move data between networks and how HTTP and DNS help devices communicate with applications. 🌐
What stood out to me was seeing how these different parts work together whenever I access something online.

Day 8 🔐💻
I'm the type to update my apps only when someone tells me there's a new update. 😭😂
Learning that updates aren't just about new features; they also fix security vulnerabilities.
Time to start checking myself. 💚

Day 17/60
- Finished modules 11, 12 and 13 of Cisco Networking course on Networking Basics.
- Learnt about Static and Dynamic {DHCP} Processing .
- Learnt how NAT and Broadcast Containment work.

Day 16/60 🔐
Today, I learned how IPv4 addresses identify devices and how subnetting divides networks into smaller segments. 🌐
An IP address tells you more than just where a device is, the subnet mask helps show which network it belongs to.

Day 16/60
An IPv4 address is a logical identifier assigned to a device's network interface. It must be unique within a local network for local communication, and unique globally for internet communication.
Also learnt about unicast and multicast.

Today’s task was about 2FA and why it matters. I already have it enabled on my WhatsApp, but this reminded me to check the rest of my accounts too.
One extra layer of security can make a big difference.

For real, the trickery is brutal. Some even go to the extent of replicating the original with almost zero room for suspicion if you're not paying close attention.
Day 15/60
✅ Ethernet is the standard way wired devices connect in a local network
✅ Every device has a MAC address that identifies it on the local network
✅ Switches use MAC addresses to send data only to the right device

Day 14/60 🔐
Today, I learned what happens behind the scenes when I type a website name into my browser. 🌐
DNS translates domain names into IP addresses, helping devices find the right destination.

Day 15/60 🔐
Today, I learned how devices communicate within a local network using Ethernet and MAC addresses. 🌐
What clicked for me was how switches use MAC addresses to figure out where data needs to go instead of sending it everywhere.

Day 13/60
- Learned Networking Concept: IP addresses, Subnets, Routing, TCP/UDP, Ports, OSI model and TCP/IP model
