Reminder: your Telegram DMs are NOT end-to-end encrypted by default.
Regular “cloud chats” are stored on Telegram’s servers with encryption keys Telegram controls. That means Telegram can access your contents.
Regular group chats have NO end-to-end encryption option, even when the group is set to private.
Even Secret Chats use MTProto, Telegram’s custom protocol, without Signal’s per-message key ratcheting or post-quantum key agreement.
Telegram’s privacy policy also says it may retain metadata such as your IP address, device information and username history for up to 12 months.
For private conversations, use @signalapp.

this is cause they didn't implement the ability to mint coins fully
the only way to mint coins in zcash is via the coinbase/mining
therefore zcash is not effected just fyi

The developers will be rolling the chain back to 14 October 2026, 1:00 PM Pacific Time. All exchanges have been notified and are temporarily suspending deposits and withdrawals. Please refrain from sending or receiving funds and avoid using your wallet in the meantime. We appreciate your patience while we resolve the issue. Our developers are already working on a fix. Further details will follow once the rollback is complete and an investigation has concluded.

A financial system where access to your own money is conditional on institutional approval is a system that needs alternatives.
Zcash is that alternative.
bombshell report from the OCC out today confirming what we all suspected:
between 2020 and 2025, based on a review of 100,000 complaints, America’s largest banks systematically denied banking to lawful businesses based on political and reputational considerations rather than objective financial risk, effectively appointing themselves arbiters of which industries deserved access to the financial system. digital assets was specifically named as one of the six most affected industries.
TLDR: we weren't imagining it. OCP2.0 was real.

YPF vendió Profertil en diciembre de 2025. Seis meses después, la empresa multiplicó sus ganancias por siete: $159.137 millones en el primer semestre de 2026. Si YPF hubiera conservado su 50%, le habrían correspondido casi $80.000 millones.
La excusa fue "concentrarse en Vaca Muerta". La realidad es que se desprendió de un activo estratégico (fertilizantes) justo antes de que el mercado internacional lo hiciera explotar de rentabilidad. El beneficio se lo quedaron los nuevos dueños, Adecoagro (vinculado a Daniel González, secretario coordinador de Energía y Minería).
