1/ Introducing the Cua Spaces SDK. Every big lab now ships a bot with its own computer: Grok Bot, Muse, dots. None let you bring your own. With Cua Spaces, now you can. Put Claude Code, Codex or any agent on compute you choose, and run jobs across all your computers at once.

damn. this is kinda sad. since moving from germany to uk in 2003, this was one of the main ways i absorbed london culture. sony ericsson and nokia phones on buses and trains after school playing everything from grime to rap to rock to electronic music. back when everyone had an identity of their own. the phone would match your personality. bluetooth connection and msn messenger to share taste. youtube to mp3 for rare finds that no one else had. wild to think thats how i started to learn the english language and got into music @vinvsvortexx. i know it sounds like a nostalgia trip but i miss when music and tech was a form of self expression. an accessory of its own. and if it wasn’t for the older year groups blasting their phones, i wouldn’t be here. spent some time back home in jaffna (sri lanka) earlier this year and its no different. sound systems installed into buses with the bass rattling through your chest that makes the ride that much more wavy. you just get lost in time. music is culture. culture is music. just put your headphones on or something. let the kids enjoy.
BREAKING: UK will impose Β£100 fines on people who play loud music or videos on public transport

β€œmore human, by design.”
I'm fascinated by the rise of frictionmaxxing as a response to a frictionless life. We engineer away inconvenience, only to discover that some of the friction we removed was part of what made life feel alive in the first place

beautiful. another one of those moments when you think to yourself: why does this not exist yet? best time to be shipping from this space.
What if your iPhone and Mac were one screen? Apple never made this, so we're building it NameDrop, but between your iPhone and your Mac. Fastest and most satisfying way to share files We might be cooking something crazy here

As much as I champion emerging tech, I will confidently say that people who genuinely care about experiencing art will look for one that is human breathed. Generative AI cannot create new, it can only remix whats already there

πŸ’― i have just read that pg blog for the first time and its more important today than ever. β€œthe way to create something beautiful is often to make subtle tweaks to something that already exists, or to combine existing ideas in a slightly new way”. i came from a background in private healthcare and creative side quests (lol) to now play at this intersection of tech, media and design. and i feel like there will be more people just like me who care about making and understanding things from a new perspective rather than being formally trained in one. systems level thinking merged with taste from experience across different industries. taste that will never be replaced by si no matter how good the models get (claude, im looking at you). and not asking for permission to create. 0 gate keeping. full agency. its why i love your work with rea and it feels so aligned with the current times we are in. allowing people to reverse engineer and rebuild cool stuff with agents instead of needing specialised skills first. for me thats years compressed into days. hours even. maybe minutes soon. wow. we are all artists at heart. and love is truly the only moat left. what a time to be alive.
i think zuck is very much correct the proof to Navier-Stokes doesn't mean much to most, we were already applying NS in applications around us we are not born knowledge workers we are tinkerers, artists, and explorers at heart hackers & painters

my favourite way to talk with agents is via text (mouse and keyboard). i’ve tried to use voice as my main but it usually takes more time fixing what it transcribed than saving time. and then i’ve lost my flow state. grokbot for text on my pc. neumann u87 microphone with codex voice mode as my additional input mechanism to send tasks to my mac mini. who has figured out the β€œthumbs up” system?

the rebrand is in full effect: > artificial intelligence to super intelligence > universal basic income to shared equity might work initially to make it seem β€œless scary” to the public but still scratching the surface imo. all frontier labs need to come together and build a new education system that aligns with the future we’re heading towards and helps to implement this technology into real life. the unknown unknowns are a dark place that only builds fear and until that is solved i only see this divide between people getting wider. the knowledge gap is deep. someone cut me that check, i’ll handle creative direction.

@joshm recently asked why agents haven’t been mass adopted yet. the β€œwhy” is lack of education.
Hot take… isn’t it kinda crazy that nobody is really using AI Agents? I don’t mean software engineers or AI early adopters. I mean β€œcollege friends talking about it in group chat,” the feeling you got when everyone started using Instagram or TikTok. These frontier AI models are *insane* (as are the harnesses & tool calls & the like). And every large tech co has an AI agents platform, not to mention all the YC startups doing vertical agents. Yet all of your friends and family outside of tech β€” who spend all day staring at their iPhones and get paid to work in browser tabs β€” don’t really care or find themselves using any AI agents yet. Yes ChatGPT, Claude, etc. are extremely popular… but if you look at the engagement data the vast majority of people are still using these aI chat tools like a glorified Google + Grammarly. That’s why the AGI labs are all pushing desktop apps for Codex, Cowork, etc. so hard to non-technical ppl. And yes exceptions for lawyers and customer service but even those have some asterisks and exceptions to rule. Look I’m not saying the ChatGPT moment for AI Agents is not coming… it most definitely is! Remember we pivoted from Arc to Dia precisely because we believe computing is going to be radically reimagined around these AI primitives. No doubt. But that’s my point: it’s just so surprising it hasn’t happened yet because all of the tech you’d need is there. Again if you stop for a second and think about it… for all the press and money and hype and models and crazy ARR numbers… this β€œAI Agent” moment does not *feel* like the other breakthrough tech moments we’ve lived through (e.g. think the shift to Stories via Snapchat & Instagram, or shift to on-demand via Uber/Airbnb/Doordash). Which is a long way of saying: if you can figure out the answer to β€œwhy” most people don’t care about AI agents yet (and have no enduring interest in using them) β€” especially since the models and harnesses are here and ready β€” the answer to that question will allow you to capture a lot of marketshare and make a lot of money in 2027. Theoretically, the tech is ready for AI Agents to totally transform how we work and live our lives… but alas the general public dgaf… that’s the generational puzzle to solve for the next 12 months for anyone not working on the models themselves.
